What’s a good carb goal for a “low carb” diet to lower blood sugar? Thanks

Hi I’m hoping to get some help with carb goals. I’ve read a lot here and they’re at a pretty wide range. I’m new to it so any help is appreciated.

I am keto so my carb intake is 5 % I would say maybe 25 to 50 grams of carbs for low carb ... I use to be type 2 diabetic and on lots of meds .. I am happy to say that I am no longer on any meds and i am not longer type 2 diabetic ... wishing you the very best3

Has anyone tried the mantra: if it’s white, it’s poisonous? Unless it’s an onion or cauliflower.0

I'm Type 2 diabetic, I keep my carbs down to usually 20 g. per day or less, at most I'll go up to 30.
After 2 decades of diabetes I found the lower carb I went, the better off I was. I started on insulin (80 units of long-acting per day) + metformin.
Lowered my carbs to 60 per day-- 4 servings-- and was weaned me off insulin & onto glimepiride 8 mg per day. After a while I was able to cut that down to 4 mg, and sometimes could only take 2 to avoid a blood sugar crash. A1C finally went below 6.
Eventually I got switched to Ozempic weekly injections. As per new dr.'s recommendation, started on the standard ADA diet, which upped my "healthy" carbs to 75-125 per day. But it didn't seem to matter if I was eating produce, whole grains, or Snickers bars-- with that many carbs, my blood sugar got out of control again and my A1C went back up to around 7.
Lowered my carbs & blood sugar became more manageable. Ozempic got too popular and couldn't get it, so I was switched to Mounjaro, which gave me too much indigestion. So I stopped that and didn't replace it. I just lowered my carbs even more. Got my A1C just after lowering carbs it was back down to 6.
That's when I found the sweet spot for me is 70% fat/20%protein/10% carbs on average, which comes to about 20 g or carbs or less per day. Keeps me satiated and killed sweet/carb cravings.
Still on metformin but my blood sugar is in the 80s every day now and rarely spikes over 110 even after meals, plus I'm still losing weight so I should be able to start weaning off the metformin soon.
I gotta get my A1C this month but I think it's gonna be better than it has been for a long time. Even when I was on insulin my blood sugar levels were rarely down to the 80s and spikes after meals were rarely below 140.
Best advice I can give, for what it's worth-- either keep lowering them till you're happy with the numbers, OR (and I think this is better and wish I'd done it this way) start with an elimination diet and drop them below 20 g, then slowly add a few grams per week till you find your own perfect balance.2
