I was afraid to get on the scale this morning because I felt like I had a bad week eating poorly and not working out as often. Work stress got me down this week. But I’m surprised there was still some weight-loss compared to last week. I plan to do better this week and focus on myself.

Hi everybody,
I've been absent for quite some time now, after losing my Grandfather in January, 5 days before my Birthday, and my Mom in February, 1 month and 3 days after my Grandfather, I feel like it's time that I come back, and really stick to this so I can get healthier and more fit! (My mom was overweight my whole life, and my Grandfather wasn't very fit either.) September is coming to an end, so hoping there will be room for me here to rejoin for October!

Hey Cassie! Glad to see you back in here - I can absolutely move you back to the standard weight loss team from the support team, not a problem. I currently have Sunday as your current weigh day, does this still work? Also, what is your starting weight for October?

Thanks, I hope this time around is great, and helps me get to where I need and want to be! Yes, I would like to keep Sundays as my weigh in days, as I just weighed in today for the first time in a while. And my starting weight is the highest I've ever been, which suuuuucks! It's 238.6, I want to see that number disappear! By going DOWN, not up!1 -
Quick Update from Me:
I went to my friend's wedding this weekend - had a ton of fun, she was gorgeous, my feet hurt from dancing, my voice is hoarse from singing, all that good stuff. I didn't eat as much as I probably should have yesterday, and it was difficult to not have the thought of "oh, I danced a ton and didn't eat a lot, I probably lost weight" rather than "I need to help my body recover and make sure I make good choices today to support that".
It didn't help that one of the other ladies I was traveling with was constantly making comments about how she wishes she were thinner, how she didn't feel pretty, how she should have brought a corset to cinch her waist so she couldn't eat as much... and I was trying to set her right, but there was only so much I could do.
On a brighter note, I looked fantastic in my dress. I'll have to upload a picture, I'm so proud of myself for making a couple small shifts in my life to get this dress to fit the way I wanted it to. It's been a while since I've felt that pretty, and I don't think I've ever looked forward to someone else's wedding pictures in my entire life.
And now I'm at the airport, about to head back to Cleveland from Omaha, just in time for me to leave for San Diego for a conference tomorrow. Lots of travel this month. I'm hoping all the walking adds up, I'm going to have separation anxiety from my gym, I swear. I packed some workout clothes, in the off chance I have more free time than expected, but I am fully anticipating that the majority of my exercise this week will be walking, and abusing my triceps to style my hair.5 -

I've been feeling like this lately 🤦🏻♀️
But, the end of the month is almost here and I will make myself move again!!
We may have dips and climbing back up the slopes seems tough each time, but we've gotta keep doing it so that each dip is easier to get out of!

Hello Everyone! I'm new to this whole "community" thing on MFP, so I'm going to try and do this right. I'll learn as I go I guess. I appreciate you accepting me into the group. I have worked with a coach personally and also for several coaches as a virtual assistant; so I know what I should be doing, however, I never stick with it. I found these groups and thought it would be a good fit for that need. I'm looking forward to being here and learning how all this works.7

So... not exactly happy today - but yesterday I injured my foot -and now... I've put myself on the "bench" for a few days.... which really annoys me - seeing as last week I felt like i was doing so well on my exercising. But looking at the "bright side of things" this change will definitely keep me on track with my food... In order to ensure I stay in a calorie deficit that is...4
