    Good morning!

I'm not sure what the dog ate, but she has to race outside to make a deposit. This morning it was at 4:35. When she get this, it usually lasts a day or two. This started yesterday morning.

I didn't do many chores yesterday, so I get to today.

Yesterday I made a new recipe for a low sodium chicken casserole. We tried to eat it. It was not horrible, but it was not good. I never know if I should throw it away, or force myself to eat it at lunch for a couple of days.

Yesterday morning I got out with my camera and walked in the woods. It was good for my soul.

    Have a great day!

Up a tad early, but went to bed early as well. Lots of stars out in a clear predawn sky.

I think I’m cleared to go places with a mask now, but I’m not going to church this morning and risk giving COVID to anyone else. Will watch a livestream of the service. I was at Bible study last Tuesday morning, before I realized I was sick, only coughing a little (I thought from sawdust inhalation). About nine of us sitting around a table. I pray none of them get sick. One woman is in her 90’s, although she’s had it twice and is fine.

Watched Holy Cross lose to Lafayette yesterday; the Cross is not playing up to its past quality. The QB gained like 230 yds carrying the ball, and scored 2 TDs, which was amazing, but we still didn’t win. Torrential rain on natural turf made it a difficult game as well. DGS did not play.

Hoping to get a few things done around here today. Still coughing, but getting gradually better I think, I’ll start by picking up things I’ve left here and there over the last week, straightening up. Definitely will walk a bit outside when the sun warms us up; get moving, but nothing extreme.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Hope you continue to improve, Mike.

That's always an issue, for me Steve. I hate to throw out food of any kind, and rarely do.

Got in some shop time yesterday morning, then spent the afternoon watching the Ducks win on TV. The grandkids spent the night. I introduced them to The Fellowship of the Ring last night. They're eager to see the next installment of the trilogy the next tie they stay over.

Meeting of church elders after church, today. That generally lasts until around 2.

    Good Afternoon

Late checking in. We just finished up working outside. We passed on doing so yesterday as were both still feeling stiff. We got most of the hard work finished today. Next up is finishing cutting back the undergrowth on the rosemary bush which overhangs the small retaining wall. Old wood, so not much fun. Then after sweeping up the patio and breaking down the small plastic storage shed, we can begin the final phase of compost and wood chip mulching. We welcomed a new grand nephew to the family last night. My niece is over in Massachusetts but a group text was the next best thing to being there. First grandchild on my side of the family. Exciting stuff. That makes 4 grand nephews and nieces for us.
