A belated thanks to the veterans. My elder brother was in the Navy, and two uncles. And I had a cousin who died in Viet Nam.

Never got online yesterday; chiseled the putty out of DD’s broken windows, went to the hardware store and discovered they don’t sell window glass anymore. Got the glazing points, the glazing compound, a can of primer—no we only sell picture frame glass. Huh? Visited two stores, same thing.

Cold morning with frost over everything. Cold is good--I’m hoping for a good, long icefishing season this year; never got out at all last winter.

    Have a good one...

    Good morning!

I went to the grocery store yesterday morning. Then I spent three hours mowing the yard and picking up leaves behind the mower. Then last night, I replaced to older bo*b lights in the hallway with two new LED lights. Much better! I did manage to get fiberglass fibers in my fingers. It hurts, and it drives me crazy.

Stoopid cat is helping me type.

Today will be about regular chores and maybe a nap. I am cooking steak on the traeger tonight.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Today is the big send-off for our departing pastor, at church, and she is out sick with Covid. I think the plan is to have her Zoom in to things, but it will still be a pretty lame farewell.

Your comment got me searching, Mike, and the local orange store doesn't carry glass, either. you can order it, but they don't have it on site. It wasn't that long ago that they would cut it to the size you wanted.

Finish-turned a nice cherry bowl, yesterday. Probably no shop time today. DW has errands to run this afternoon.

    Mornin' gents.

    Extra crunchy grass this morning.
Good day dog training yesterday. The pro I train with is going to Ohio this week for the Open National. He is running 3 dogs. It is small entry, only 73 dogs (usually 120 plus), due to concerns about a certain type of grass seed that can cause big problems if inhaled. Not sure how real a concern it is so long as the offending grass is sparse in the fields being used to run the trial. The Amateur Open in Nebraska is the week following Turkey Day, even though my dogs are qualified, I will not be going. I made the decision not to go earlier this year when I committed to the S Dakota trip. No big loss, IMHO...I know you can't win if you don't run, maybe next year when it is in Illinois.
Green chile pheasant soup this evening. More like a white bean chicken chili.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning

We have several glass shops in the area, but it has been a very long time since I replaced a pane. We don't have any single pane windows anyway.

Yesterday we learned we seriously underestimated how much wood chips we need. Thankfully we were able to scrape up 10 1/2 bags between the two local nurseries. Today we will load up the cart and keep bringing them thru the house and into the back and finish the job off with a little luck. Muscle cramps continue so I will need to take the muscle relaxer earlier and figure out the right stretch. It got pretty brutal for a while last evening. Green Chile Pheasant soup sounds intriguing.

    Good Afternoon,
DD and family came Saturday, went to GA game last night, and left after breakfast this morning.
Me and DW have been churched.
Hoping for quite week, only one doctor appointment.
