Weatherman betrayed us again. He told us yesterday we’d have up to 13” of snow starting at midnight, and there’s not a flake in sight anywhere (...except me?) And forecast now says total accumulation will be 3”. Not enough for snowshoeing.
Spent 10 hours at DD’s yesterday tuning their piano and fixing a string I broke in the process. Made an assessment of mechanical adjustments that could be done to it, for another day. Got to visit with GKs after they came home from school and share lunch and supper with DD & DSIL. Piano at least sounded better at the end, so a good day all in all.

Mike, it is good of you to keep your family's pianos in tune. Too bad you didn't get to go snow shoeing.
We have had unusually warm weather now for a while. I noticed this weekend that the peonies are starting to stick above the soil a little. Too early for that!
Day one in the books for the Betr diet. I did OK, but I could have made a better salad for lunch. I made a salad last night that should be much better. I have to admit that I did sleep better last night.

A dry day in Tumwater. Yay! A long walk is in my near future. I should finish my latest small bowl, too. Then I have a woodturners club meeting tonight. I haven't been to a meeting since November. Last month it was the night before my surgery. Looking forward to going.

Good Morning
I am finally getting my Covid shot this morning after being asked to hold off till my treatments were done. Then it is off to run some errands before heading over to regroup with the surgeon for my back. I have a few questions to go over with him but I am hoping I can be scheduled in a couple weeks. I need to pick Heather up from work afterward. Heather is working today and I will have the car so it would be good if I remember to pick her up afterward.0 -
Should be fairly dry here (with maybe a spritz or two) in PDX today too I think. Just a bit chilly start in the mid 30s still might make low 50s later though.
Dave: the woodturners club sounds nice indeed. I'll resist (teehee) saying ya "bowl"ed me over with that one. Walk sounds good to me. I am slowly ramping up my biking along with walks.
