BBCode means Bulletin Board Code. A nested BBCode tag is when you put one tag inside another. This lets you combine styles. For example, to make text bold and italic, use Bold and Italic text.
Example:
Imagine you want to make the word "important" both bold and italic in a sentence:
This is an important message.
When displayed, it will look like this: This is an important message.
