I heard DS, who works in a bar and grill kitchen, is making brunch today. Eggs, bacon, sausage and hashbrown potatoes. I will have to watch the fat and salt, and if there's any chocolate around, sit at the opposite end of the room.
Happy Easter everyone, and good health to all.0 -
Happy Easter!
Well, we bought a car for Collin yesterday. 2014 Ford Focus. His payments will be $266 a month. Now we need to get him working.
I'm at 174.7 this morning. First time under 175 since 2010 when I was training for a half marathon.
Enjoy the day with your families.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Should be a beautiful spring day, in Tumwater. Sunny and low 60s. Rare.
Church at the normal time, this morning. I'm not ambitious enough to make the sunrise service. After church we head over to DS' house for a late lunch/dinner.0 -
Mornin' gents. Happy Easter. Church today but sadly they stopped doing sunrise service.
Best wishes and good health indeed!
Will be 60's today possibly upper 60s in PDX0 -
A Blessed Easter to each of you and your loved ones!
I am sick again with a head cold. Heather has also expressed concern about my up and down health and energy lately. I think it is just a rough patch with a lower than normal immune system right now. I will likely not be cooking which is OK based on yesterdays conversation. I had already lost interest in preparing the meal when I was told by my wife that she would be helping me in the kitchen. I don’t let people in my kitchen when I am cooking. Pretty basic meal of ham, potato casserole and rolls anyway. Beautiful day here. Today is day 3 off the pain meds (just tylenol and gabapentin now). There may be a beer in it for me. I haven’t had one in almost 2 years. My son brought me my favorite local Double IPA. Another reason to keep me out of the kitchen. Perhaps I will sit in the back yard and enjoy it!0
