    Mornin' gents.

Got a nature nice walk with M yesterday AM. About a 4 mile loop through a section of White's Woods in Litchfield. It took us about 80 minutes, and we went early enough that we didn't encounter very many other people. Left the girls at home for the nature walk, other wise they would be straining at the leash to hunt the woods or chase the ducks and geese off the swampy ponds that folks come to look at. I took them out for a little gundog training afterwards.
So sorry to hear about Frankie's liver values. A bile acid test will tell you about liver function, but for a dog her age, an abdominal ultrasound by a internal medicine specialist (probable less than a dental procedure, although more than a bile acid profile) might be a better diagnostic to perform.
Used almost all my weekly points last week. The scale will probably not show a loss this week.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Rise and shine...

Rain and clouds gone, and chilly this morning. Got in a walk in the rain yesterday. I will call for an eye appointment today. Noticing something funky going on with my right eye the last few days, and probably need new glasses anyway. It's been a few years--I think before the pandemic was my last checkup. Also need to see an ear doctor, find a new dentist, and see a dermatologist. Fun getting old.

Made some sticks on my makeshift table saw. 22mm. wide and lengths from 9" to 19" in 1/2" increments, for setting the lift of string dampers in upright pianos. Also when tied down to the hammer shanks, they double as clamps to help with filing worn felt hammerheads back to their original shape. My first real tablesaw project (skillsaw bolted onto a workmate). Came out great; very satisfying.

Trying to keep busy and stay away from the fridge...

    Have a good one.

    Good morning!

I ended up working outside most of yesterday. It was 85 degrees, which is unusual, and we will pay for that with storms tonight. I got the garden planted, the yard mowed, and the weeds whacked. I feel my age when I do all of that yard work.

My weight this morning was 173.8. I have not been that low in decades.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Way to go, Steve. (I tried to give you an exclamation point, but that key won't work).

Cool today and tomorrow but doesn't look like rain. Rita wants me to stick close to home, today, so I'll go for a hike tomorrow.

    Good Morning

Congratulations Steve on the new low!! (My exclamation key works so I threw and extra in for Dave).

Mostly rested yesterday and attended to my neck which is now improving between the brace and the Prednisone. I will be happy to ditch the steriod though. A range of motion is beginning to develop. This neck thing is the damnedest thing. We pushed the button and filed taxes last night after reviewing together. The numbers made even more sense once I looked at some of the Turbo tax worksheets. I hope to be able to do even more today though I am on a short leash with she who is ultimately in charge of late.

    Good Morning,
    Congrats Steve!!!
Hope neck keeps improving Bill, crick in is no fun.
Makeshift table saw, not safest way to cut wood; be extra careful.
Girls would have loved ponds, glad you gave them attention afterward.

Gosh Steve sorry about the snafu at the DVM. Sounds like a thorny issue day including the wild rose removal too.
