April Week 4 Group Challenge - Dance Party Challenge

During last week's Partner Up Step Challenge, a request came in for a Dance Party challenge, so we're having it this week. Plan on an active week of dance fitness and count your steps while you groove!
Each day pick one or two of your favorite dance party videos from YouTube or similar sites and post them. Share your experience of your fitness routine for that day and how it worked for you. This will be something different...challenge your friends to certain songs if you'd like...post pics too if you dare!

Great videos today! I cheated by using yours so not posting any vids today! Loved YMCA, the Meghan Trainor one and part of the 2000 Dance workout compilation! Thanks! I danced twice today...once this morning and once mid-afternoon! Was a nice way to break up my housework and hanging up laundry!
Hope you guys had a great Sunday! Back to work tomorrow and I'll admit, I could use another day, but isn't that true of EVERY weekend! LOL It was much warmer all last week and all weekend it was rainy, damp and chilly...nothing worse than a cold rain! UGH!!! But I got a lot done and saved money by not running around, so there's that!

Yesterday, I dance-worked-out to the 2000s video - I did my best approximation of her moves as she changed them up a bit too quick for me to keep up. I also got my handweights and danced to the next two songs posted. It was 33 minutes in total and burned 237 calories.4

I kinda did my own thing as far as dancing was concerned. I did it to a mix of songs. It started with Mercy by Duffy. Because I am still in pt for my knee, I did my exercises to my Playlist, ir 1 of several Playlist I have. Lol4

Sorry I'm a day late to the Dance Party.I love to dance & do a Dance Fit Class at my gym about 4 to 5 times a week.My kitchen is only small but it's for ๐ ๐บ dancing !
I have been doing these Dance videos since Covid there are lots of different ones from beginners to intermediate.Also short 15 mins ones & longer.The teacher's voice is a bit annoying at times that's the only negative.3 -

Funny thing happened at work today...got a Shalamar song stuck in my head and was dancing at the copier waiting for my report to print...someone stuck up behind me and said, "ok Jessica...we see you getting it today...go girl!" and I said, "Whatever, don't disturb this groove!" The System old school reference! LOL HILARIOUS...funny thing is, I didn't even realize I was doing it! HA!
Anywhoooo...I walked a little over a mile before work this morning and with my strength exercises and cleaning tonight...that's it for me today, but had to share my adventure at work...

Well, I'm not big on dancing, but I'll share a couple things.
I do a water aerobics class involving lots of moves to a lot of great music, and that usually includes two "choreographed" numbers: Cupid Shuffle and Wipeout!
