    Thanks Al! It's nice to "hear" Yiddish. It reminds me of my grandmother (who taught me a bit of Yiddish when I was very young).

    We had both seders out this week and they were a lot of fun, but ran pretty late. At the same time, it's a bittersweet time right now, given not just the events in Israel, but also the expanding protests, and in many cases, blatant anti-Semitism on display. Nevertheless, the Haggadah (the book we use as the text of the seder) reminds us that in every generation enemies rise up to destroy us and yet G-d saves us.

    Now if He would just "save" my GI system--matzoh can be very hard on that system!
