    Hey! Sorry, just saw this ... no orchard, but that honestly sounds like more fun! I'm working on establishing native plantings in my little slice of suburban wildness after several seasons of removing the invasive buckthorn. I planted red osier dogwood, staghorn sumac, white spruce, and lilacs that I sourced from a bare root nursery in Wisconsin. A labor of love, pretty much, because we enjoy our place so much.

    Nice! The only thing in our yard that is an "invasive" is a Burning Bush. I got it long before I knew that it was invasive, but I love it too much.
    Our only other bothersome plant is a wild "weed" that one of my 20 something grandsons loves to pull out. Does it about 2-3 times a season.
