Not that it’s why I do Tai Chi, but I find that unlike “exercise”, it requires my mind to focus on what I’m doing rather than wandering off by itself while I do something that bores me.
And going forward, I’m going to measure my blood pressure on the European standard where 125/65 is considered normal. Hey, I’m from Switzerland; it doesn’t get much more European than that!0 -
Tai Chi is somerimes called moving meditation, and while I will not claim that meditation will lower blood pressure, I know that when I regularly do my Tai Chi sessions I find myself to be a lot calmer.2
