    Good morning!

I get to see the chiropractor today. That will help.

My weight has been bouncing a bit. I think that I'm slipping in too many treats again. Back to more serious weight loss. I do think that my sleep apnea is much improved, or even gone. The last several nights my allergies have been cranking full force so I have not slept with the mask. At least according to my Garmin, I have been sleeping just fine. Not long enough, but fine. I'm hoping.

Work is still sucky. They at least made an offer to someone, with one more coming in for a second interview tomorrow. Perhaps we'll get some good news today. If we can get someone in and I can get them going, maybe I can retire just a tad earlier than June 19.

    Have a great day!

Sitting on my balcony getting buzzed by hummingbirds that apparently like my red ballcap. When the weather is nice I like to watch the sunrise from here.

Canoeing went well, had gorgeous weather, although we couldn't go very far before running into beaver dams and logjams, one after another. In past years we would've kept going but my friend Dave can't do a lot of heavy lifting anymore. Saw turtles, ducks, a pair of geese that tried to honk us back upriver, a noisy great blue heron. Lots of redwing blackbirds. Will go back when there's high water, and maybe we can get through to the next road.

Will put the action mechanism I've been working on back into its piano today to see how things sound. I've learned a lot working on this thing the past week and a half. Spinets, the subcompact version of a piano, are especially difficult because everything is behind something else and hard to get to.

I will stop in and say hi at the Bible study but continue on to the piano. Our church has decided we don't have enough overweight people, so they added coffee and doughnuts on Sunday to the pastries on Tuesdays. Ughhh.

Bill, I hope they can quell your digestive issues. Sam, good news the knee is feeling spunky. Dave, keeping you and your family in my prayers.

l am mulling over joining an online weight loss program that starts tomorrow.

    Mornin' gents.

My fitbit app announced this morning that I have walked the length of the Nile river. That is 4,132 miles. No wonder I'm so tired! Although it has taken me just over 3 years to do it. Fitbit started tracking my step April 15, 2021.
Hope your replacement signs on the dotted line, Steve.
A good donut is hard for me to say no to. Good job not falling into that trap, Mike.

    Onward and downwards ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

No donuts around here, but DDIL brought by a coffee cake on Sunday morning, and I saw it my duty to keep it from getting stale. That and a wagyu burger and steak fries for lunch, yesterday, see me up a couple lbs. Back on the horse, now.

Might go look at pickups, today.

    Good Morning

Heather brought home a donut from work last week. Even without coffee, it was glorious. Plumber visit wasn’t too painful. I got away with a rather thorough roto-rotor job after some assesment. But yesterday afternoon, my gut went south yesterday and shut down my day. Seems better today so hopefully I will be able to get out for a walk. PSA results came in yesterday. All seems well on that front, beyond my screwed up gut.

    Good Morning,
June 19 is not far off, will be here before you know it.
Love good donuts if they are hot, my being picky keeps me from eating many.
4,132 in 3 years is lots of walking for one who works in an office. Averages out to more than 3.7 miles a day.
    Hope guts are better,
Stale cake is never good, good that you prevented that, enjoy truck shopping Toyota dealers here after a couple of years without inventory have full lots and offering deals to them.
