Cool, gray overcast this morning, rain later.

Pollen has been collecting on everything last few weeks. My black car looks yellow when I go out in the morning, and there were clouds of it coming out of the pines on the river when I was canoeing last week. Doesn't bother me, though. Mid-fall I get stuffy-sneezy for a few weeks, but I just tough it out rather than add more drugs to my daily pills.

Church this morning. Too much media these days. I'm turning it off for the day. MIght look into going camping somewhere this week, if the weather and schedule seem okay.

    Have a good Sunday.

    Good morning!

We have had another .27 inches of rain on top of the 1.81 that we had yesterday. Too much!

It was very hot and nasty outside yesterday. The dew point was 73 degrees. 70 degree dew point is considered oppressive. One would think that we were in Atlanta!

I am still in rest mode, and so far retirement seems like a holiday weekend. I am getting more used to the idea that I don't have to get all my chores and everything else done in one weekend. I am also getting more rest. Frankie let me sleep until after 6:00 this morning. I don't remember the last time that she let me do that. Sweet!

Today will be more about rest, but I will also get a little house work done. I need to clean my bathroom, and I should vacuum. I am going to try my first Traeger smoked pizza for dinner tonight. I have a pizza stone that I've never used, and a rough plan in my head. What could go wrong?

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Rita has lots for me to get done, today, to prepare for our leaving for five days in Las Vegas, tomorrow. First on the agenda is lard work. I've let the lawn go several days longer than usual, so it wouldn't be too much of a jungle by next Saturday, when I can mow again. This is time of year I normally mow every four days. We have a great climate for grass. I already anticipate feelings of guilt when I drop Sassy off at the boarding kennel tomorrow morning.

We went downtown (Olympia) last night and strolled around until we decided on a place to eat. Afterwards we strolled down the boardwalk on the waterfront. Really pleasant couple of hours. We should do more of that.

    Been churched,
Already HOT and HUMID today, 88 coming home from church. We are about 70 miles East South East of Atlanta and generally about 5 degrees hotter than Atlanta.
We have stuff going on every day this week and DW not being able to drive means even appointments that do not affect me means I'm having to chauffeur. Thankful I have no doctors appointments this week.
One of my neighbors has decided they need to cut my grass this week, it has been a month since knee surgery, believe I need to get back to routines and walking more.
Steve, bet in a couple of months you will wonder how you had time to work; guard against letting too many folks plan your life because you do not have a regular job to go to.

    Good Morning

We weren’t terribly productive yesterday so today we will need to be. We leave on Tuesday for a short Anniversary trip down the coast. I have a couple of errands to run once the French Open concludes. I will walk first and then go. Have fun grilling pizza Steve. Perhaps I will give it a try. It was been a while since I did any or even made any pizza dough. Thanks for the idea.
