Do you know any dietitian or nutritionists who use MyFitnessPal data?

My doctor referred me to his practice's in-house dietitian when I was first diagnosed 3 years ago. The dietitian had me keep a food log, so I set-up MyFitnessPal on my own to log my foods. With a metformin and some changes in my diet I was able to get my A1C down within 9 months.

I had a few more sessions with the dietitian to attempt weight lose, but was frustrated that she wasn't interested in using the MyFitnessPal data. She just wanted me to list my foods to her, so she could come-up with her own estimates and then send me suggested changes and ridiculous recipes.

I want to restart dieting and getting my weight down, but would like a trained person to guide me. It would great if I could find someone who uses the app data. But I have yet find a dietitian who advertises that they use MyFitnessPal. I appreciate any resources or referrals.

My wife would print a report to take to a dietician she had, and that worked well.

Maybe it is a little hit or miss. This dietician might not be a good fit.

Perhaps you can screenshot your diet logs for your dietitian?
If you’re a premium member there’s some other stuff you can screenshot too.

    Like this:

And you can screenshot weekly views from previous weeks, too.

It would seem to me that any dietician would be able to work with this sort of info...
