    Coming up for air. Partner doctor flaked out for the umpteenth time and got fired by corporate on Monday. She was only about 25% of the practice but I was already maxed out and am now picking up her cases. Kinda feel for her mental health and a bit relieved to be free of the toxicity and drama, but am mostly feeling pissed off right now. Now just me and a part time doc, who is awesome and picking up some of the load too.
    Crazy storms overnight.

    I'm so ready for our 10 days vacation starting July 3.

    I'm spending later this afternoon with Jr, my dgs. He always makes my day! Growing like a weed and walking every where! Chattering up a storm and so happy!

    Nice house ds1 is getting into Kelly! Tight market, good they landed it. If you need our guest bedroom and bathroom , here for moving, its all yours! Heck the whole house is available for your use. I'd say it's a 30min highway drive here to new place there. It's a good area, that has expanded with a lot of new subdivisions,
    a nice town center, shopping etc. over last 10 yrs...
    Moving stinks, but exciting too!

    • I had to Google it but apparently Skip is coming down with the National Christian Foundation?!? Then I remembered it was Skip. New Car Fever. Yep, it's about that time.
    • I'm guessing Doc Lee is going through times of making sure the practice he and Mary built is the best it can be and other times of "it's not my responsibility anymore". Good luck with that Lee. I hope you get some help soon.
    • Sam, back when I had a Goldwing, we stopped in at Stricklands for lunch one day. It's just down the street from the Honda shop. Good place.

    Looking forward to seeing what Skip brings home next.

    Took DW to a local casino yesterday and she hit a hand-pay jackpot. Adds to our tax bill, but worth it to see her smile.

    We're in the middle of a couple days of cool, damp weather. It gets very warm after this. I will take advantage of the cool to wrestle heavy wood around and make large piles of shavings.

    So sorry Lee. I know you care so ,much about the animals and their parents not to do everything. Hopefully there will be a replacement soon.

    Today is yoga then a new therapist is coming over for a consult. We met her at domino's among other places. She isn't taking new clients but after visiting with him over a game this week she volunteered.

    Today is also expat happy hour. We met a new couple, more our age at the pizza party last week and they said they would come this week (they have lived here full time for 2 years) they live further out of town and don't make the drive in often. Hope they show up...they were fun.
