I cannot believe that it's August. Where did that summer go?
Chris - We have Amanda who cleans our house every other week. It's such a godsend with our busy lives. We stopped at during COVID because Mom was afraid of having somebody come in the house, and started it up I think about 3 or 4 months ago. She's such a lovely girl too. Grateful that I can afford it.
Paula - Kind of you to say that about my eyes. I'm a brown-eyed girl for sure :-) although my site every year seems to get a little worse. The ophthalmologist tells me that I'm right on track for middle-age :-)
By two have been watching the Olympics. Mostly the gymnastics. I'm fairly obsessed with Simone biles. Her story, and what she went through last Olympics with mental health issues I think is really inspiring. If you haven't caught her Netflix documentary called Simone Biles Rising I highly recommend it. I was in the office yesterday and we set up one of our conference rooms during lunch to wash the women's all around. We only got through about half of those fun to do it at work. Obviously I know Simone won the gold, but the recap also it was too late for me to watch all of it so I'm going to watch it here this morning. Just love her story.
Paula - wishes for you of a speedy end to your divorce. It can be so hard. Thinking of you.
Kathy - can't wait to hear more about your trip :-)

Oh tomorrow officially ends the 6 weeks for the cleanse that Jim and I have been doing. All in all it has been really positive and much easier as time has gone on. We've cleaned up our act lol :-)
I've lost 11 lb, and for sure I'm eating a ton better. Haven't had any alcohol in 6 weeks which frankly would be hardest part in the beginning. But not a big deal now. I do plan on continuing. Still have some crawl back to do from a weekend over the last year. But I feel really good about my progress the past 6 weeks.
Highest weight ever: 306 (2013)
Ultimate goal weight: 165-170
7/25 - 186.9
8/2 - 186.5
August goal - 180
Working from home today and going to planet fitness before my first meeting at 8:30. I love it when I have later meetings :-) kind of crazy that 8:30 is considered a later meeting
Today is also the second course of aqua Yoga at lunch time. It is so much fun. She's doing a shorter of 4-week session in August and I really hope to be able to get to all of them. They are super fun.
Hope everybody has a happy Friday!

Karen if you are reading this you could be posting in the wrong spot. I have enjoyed reading them and am also enjoying the olympics.
