Stopping by to say hello. Labor Day means I got through hot and humid days. I hope

My WW goal Weight is 184, met 2018. Since after Covid fell off WW but told myself to never go above 200. Scale says 195 and keeping in touch with you GOADies keep me of being aware how the battle is never over.

As a former union steward I do pause to consider the labor movement.

But like most others, it is a time to relax and enjoy the transition of the seasons.

Always good to see you, Jim. Hope everything is going reasonably well with your wife. And yes, the battle is never over.

For me? Well, I'll be doing my part as a suburbanite and grilling burgers for dinner - but largely because I stumbled across them in the freezer when I was looking for what to thaw for dinner. Labor Day for me largely means the arrival of meteorological fall, and with that, the sad reality that wearing a pair of shorts and a short sleeve shirt becomes a question rather than a default. I do like fall in New England, but these little milestones are a reminder that winter is not that far away.

Every day’s a holiday now. And here in south Florida every day is summer except a handful of fall like days Dec/Jan.

Primarily, Labor Day is a day to celebrate laborers, and fully support their rights. Secondarily, as someone who retired five years ago, it's another day that ends in "Y". Thirdly, because as Charlie said, it's harder to shed the weight blips, no day is a day for let-er-rip eating.

DW and I did alittle of all except great sales. Stayed in cooked some ribs in the oven. Nothing exciting.
