I generally do better at the start of the week, esp this past one, which felt like two or three days jammed into every one. Was very tired by Friday.

We are officially over halfway through the month! For those of you who set a goal for the end of September, how are we feeling about our progress? What went well for the beginning of the month? What do we want to change?2

@minstrelofsarcasm thanks for keeping the weight loss discussion going!
I had a big set back last week. Fell off the healthy eating wagon and had too much chocolate and cheez its and other junk.
I can’t seem to get back to my salads and apples and fruits and veggies. I have no motivation right now. Frustrating….
I’m probably in a bit of a blue state right now, just a lot of things going on that are stressing me out. Tendinitides in my left foot which is painful and swollen, a dentist who can’t get his s**t together and get the crown done correctly for my tooth, a messy house with no motivation to pick it up, a car that’s giving me trouble. That’s just a few of the things bugging me. Starting to feel more blue as it gets closer to October. Used to be my happiest month with three of my son’s birthdays and beautiful fall colors, and now it’s become the month of the yearly anniversaries of the death of one of my sons.
The only thing I’ve still kept up on is trying to get a lot of steps in (even though it’s aggravating the tendinitis).3 -
Stepping is interesting today
A short quiet walk before breakfast, a quiet morning then out for lunch and a few hours in a shopping mall pushing Anne in a wheelchair.0 -

Well, I think I have some intestinal thing going on because my scale shot up a lot of pounds inexplicably. I've had some weird stomach behavior and decided it is probably time for another round of prilosec (I have GERD and take meds that mess with the stomach, so this happens). But I will try a probiotic for a few weeks first and see if that helps. I don't love prilosec.1 -

I'm feeling better after new meds have helped with pains. I'm getting outside more - except for during the flood causing heavy rain this past weekend - I've been losing weight and feel positive about keeping up this momentum.

Oooh yikes, I remember taking prilosec back in the day before doctors knew what was actually wrong with me, not a fan of how it made me feel, even if it took away some of the nausea. Best of luck!1 -
@BodyTalking - Look at you go! And, based off of my calculations, you're already 64% of the way to your end-of-month goal, and there's still 40% of the month left! Way to show us how it's done!2

We’ve had a great day today.
Walked 5 miles on the local hilly estate pushing Anne in her wheelchair because she couldn’t walk the distance.
I’m tired but so happy we could share the sunshine and the scenery. Earlier this year I wouldn’t managed to the local shop on the flat .

It’s been a crazy busy week! I did push myself to go to the gym a couple days though. Just a little step to getting back on track. My mantra is ….. One day at a time One day at a time.

@minstrelofsarcasm thank you, my weight goes up and down. I can never get it to keep going down. I haven’t been having breakfast as much lately and have had more salad and veggies so hoping that helps. I want to try yoga for my back so I can get back into walking but I get very bored because yoga is not my thing.2

There are different types of yoga. Maybe you haven't found the right one. LesMills used to have a yoga-pilates fusion thing that was pretty fun. I think they called it BodyFlow? Might be YogaFlow now. I've seen some videos of old classes on youtube...you might check them out. Of course LesMills is a gym thing but still ...
In other news, I think I'm excusing myself tomorrow--probiotic is starting to help but I am not out of the woods quite yet.1 -
