Fitter Fitness For Fall: Crossing the Finish Line

This Fall Challenge we are disembarking the plane to focus more on reaching our goals! Instead of flying to a destination, we will use our fitness minutes to "Cross the Finish Line." It's still a race but it's a foot race! Which team will "break the ribbon"?

When my son was in second grade he was disappointed because he received his first B on his report card. When asked if he did his best he replied no. When asked what he could have done differently he said, "I could do one more." The B was in math so I assumed he meant he could do one more math problem. He taught me a lesson that I always remember when I'm ready to quit. I can always do one more. One more step, one more rep, one more stretch, one more minute.

This Fall, let's try to do one more of something each day that will move us and our teams to our finish line.

The challenge begins on Saturday, October 12. Invitations will be sent at the Team Leader's convenience starting on Friday October 4.

@Ceriusly1 - thanks for - Fitter Fitness For Fall: Crossing the Finish Line. I don't know who created this slogan...but kudos to them. That is a good mantra for making changes in our health journey.

@Everyone Thank you for your comments! The planning never stops!

@3fabboysx1 @130StrongerEachYear Speaking for the OALs. We are glad you like it. We've been working together on the 5% for many years so our conversations usually flow from idea to idea until we fall on something that Fits!

Thank you for the kudos! I agree, that Fitter Fitness For Fall: Crossing the Finish Line is a good mantra. I think I will make it my mantra also.

Best wishes to everyone as you race to break your personal ribbon!

@Ceriusly1 - Ceri's idea was to 'Cross the Finish Line' and/or 'Break the Ribbon' so I'll give the credit to my friend!!

:)@hicim705 Thanks, Heidi! I am just now seeing this. We OALs work well together, and eventually, it's like we have one mind.
