Congrats, Phil. ๐๐ป
They say a plateau is that point where your desire to weigh less is in perfect balance with your desire to eat more, and by that definition, maintenance is just one long plateau. Unfortunately, my desire to eat more has been overpowering my desire to weigh less for the past two weeks, and Iโm over my goal weight both at the Studio Thursday night and on my fourteen day average.
I have successfully demonstrated that cravings do not suspend or supersede the laws of physics. It is (past) time to hold myself accountable to follow my own plan.2 -

You and me both! Gotta use both hands on my grip, instead of using one to eat snacks.2 -
Hey guys!
I'm out of town but feeling good about having eaten in a deficit this week. I'm on week #3 of my "no weighing-in experiment." I'm still feeling good about it.
I normally set my tracker at 1200 calories when I'm in loss mode, but for this experiment, I'm aiming for 1200-1300. I don't yet know how allowing those extra calories will impact the scale, but it has done WONDERS for my mental state about dieting. Those extra calories make it way easier to stick to a drgicit. Who knew? I'm always a slow loser, so we'll see how the extra calories impact my weight over 12 weeks. (I'm feeling like 12 weeks is doable versus the six I initially discussed.) If I continue to track as diligently, I think I'll be fine. I've decided to try to pop into a WW studio next week and weigh-in without learning the weight. (App not currently on my phone.) I think I'll want as monthly data point once the experiment is over.
I'm not feeling any thinner, but a family member who I saw a month ago commented yesterday that I look like I've lost weight. So . . . maybe?
Have a great weekend!2
