Sorry Steve, KC is a very good team this year, but the Yankees will move on.
I think my PITA (sciatica) is improving. I was really hobbling at the start of dog training yesterday (usually get 4 miles in most training sessions), then by the end I was moving pretty normally and last night I actually got some sleep. I was considering seeing a chiro, but now will hold off.
Mother Nature is a force to be reckoned with. She wants Florida back.
The Tundra is going in for its 50K check up today. It has really been a good truck so far.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

Thank you all for the very kind thoughts and prayers yesterday. October 10th is by far the hardest day of the year for us.

Today will be a much better day. I will try to get a few things done today.

Dang Yankees anyway. I am happy that the Royals did as well as they did this year.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin'

We had northern lights here last night, some areas pretty spectacular. My kids sent pics to their mom in the hospital to cheer her up. She's getting pacemaker today and probably going home tomorrow. I drove to a dark area but didn't see much by the time I got there. Us ham radio guys love active sunspot times when they can talk to faraway places. I still only have a technician license and so just use the 2-meter band, so just local mostly.

Got out for a hike yesterday. Haven't been doing much walking lately, need to get back to it. Did some tinkering with a vintage backpacking stove DSIL sent me along with other outdoor gear. Very cool. She combs through stuff at their recycling center in NH where she volunteers. Her and DB have hiked all 48 4000-foot mountains in NH; now they both have bad backs, knees, hips; she wants to move to a house where the driveway isn't so long.

Nice to hear from Doc Skippy yesterday.

    Onward and downward.

    Good morning gentlemen.

I am firm in my belief that most chiropractors are quacks. I will never understand why they are allowed to call themselves "doctor" and are allowed to practice their mumbo jumbo. My spine surgeon cautioned that chiropractors can cause permanent injury when manipulating areas already weakening. See a spine specialist. Lee.

Going to be another great autumn day. Think I'll ride my bike after it warms up a bit.

    Good Morning

Not a big believer in Chiropractor's. I would go to a spine Doc and get a thorough diagnosis and understanding of your options.

I missed yesterday after I had to head out early to get a paint chip off the wall of one of the bathrooms that I wouldn't let them paint so I could get it matched for touching up where the baseboard was adjusted to match up with the new stuff in the bedroom. The Realtor and her minions wore me down yesterday with her lets get those bi-fold doors rehung after all so I spent an hour tracking down hardware and then maybe she won't re-install, carpet wasn't schedule for today by the flooring guy, oops. Touch up painting, which is growning, will happen at ? and Saturday's staging is a maybe or incomplete. I am have tapped out till Monday and we are traveling Tues thru Thurs. Its a tight timeline now to go to market mid next week. I still write the checks so they will need to do it right. We are looking forward to getting away for a while next week back to Claremont and So Calif to relive old times one more time.

I have a much different opinion of chiropractors, were it not for chiropractor I would have had back surgery back in early 2000's. Have not had hardly any back issues since I completed treatments with chiropractor 2010. And I can name some who went medical route who have had numerous operations and are still having pain. But I will agree every body is different and what works for one may not work for another. My chiropractor was also a business partner which greatly helped with cost.
Took Toad for a lunch ride today, great to be out again.
