Signing the closing papers today on Colorado property, sellers are signing on Friday. Split closing? Should be a done deal.
New vet will be a huge relief.
I have a childhood photo of me standing by a cactus in Yosemite. I have never been back.

    Good morning!

Lee, you are just full of good news! Congratulations on the property, and congratulations on the new DVM.

Still no rain in Kansas City, but we will hopefully get some tomorrow night? Tomorrow will be in the mid-80s again. I'm ready for cooler temps. It is not dust bowl dusty, but it is very dusty and there is a high fire danger.

Connie has her last scheduled PT this morning. I think it has helped her. She has been doing her exercises, and I can see muscles gaining tone.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Exciting times in the Dunwiddie's household.

I am heading out for a hike today. Initially I was going to hike up to a lookout tower o the west side of Mount Rainier, but NOAA predicts a 40 percent chance of snow there and clouds to obscure the view, so I will head west to Olympic National Park for a forest hike, where cloud cover is unimportant.

    Good Morning

Congratulations Lee on the Colorado property starting the closing process. I never heard of a split multi day closing either.

Our trip to Yosemite goes well. My back was pretty stiff though. Between the thinner air and that tightness walking was not great. I finally took a muscle relaxer and Tylenol ER which helped a lot. I will repeat today but not wait as long. Despite not being able to do the things we used to do here it still awes my heart. A cool moment was driving at night toward and seeing multiple lights on El Capitan and realizing it was lanterns of climbers tucked in for the night on the rock
    face.

Pray for my Mom. At 97 the end draws near. I am try to schedule a visit with my sister who is coordinating it all.

    Good Afternoon,
Congrats Lee on getting folks in CO to corporate and getting to closing. Know girls will do great at trial.
Planting large trees one day and hiking mountain next Dave your stamina is something for me tom strive for.
Keeping your DM in prayer Bill, is she in bad health? You heading to Oregan end of week? any strong interest in condo?
Doctor this morning, says need to get rotator cuff healed so they can do a shoulder replacement; sometime between March and August of 2025. PT instructed to continue but slack off a bit.

Been AWOL for awhile whilst down in Claremont and recovering. Sadly I too have a back issue right now. I bumped myself a bit slightly bruising my hip and tweaking my back. I did PT for my pesky shoulder anyway and seemed mostly ok with that. I slightly stepped up the shoulder PT bands before I left for Claremont which was a mistake. On the plane I barely hoisted our carry-ons in the overhead bins which really further aggravated my low back. HRMPH. Let them check them curbside for return. Lots of bad issues getting in and out of bed, putting clothes on etc or just standing up!! Walked around the California Botanic Gardens which was ok. Amazing all the native plants. Visited the Alf Museum and went to the Alf Museum Dinner Friday night.
I am glad Bill that you and your DW got to see the Alf Museum and the Chapel. I too have participated in a wedding there. The Vivian Webb Chapel was inspired by the chapel at San Juan Capistrano and built by hand with adobe fro nearby soil. Thompson Webb laid many of the bricks himself by hand. Quite a task.

More comments on stuff. Sorry about the bear destroying your pigeon coop and pigeons Lee. Glad you have a new DVM too. Congrats on the 100th anniversary of Field trials too.
I was afraid Oregon might be #1 in College Football as everyone will be pointing to them now. Of course like Dave I was rooting for them to win and play well. I was glad though to see Georgia knock off Texas.
Sorry to hear about you shoulder Sam. Mine seems to be getting slowly better although with my back I have had to stop the shoulder PT stuff.

So Bill we are headed to the Oregon Coast to Depot Bay this week-end to celebrate my DW's B-day.
Will have rain showers but hopefully some time in between.

Take care of ALL those various aches, pains, and upcoming surgeries etc.
I care about all of you.s
