    • Long weekend - was fun, but not relaxing. Hosting family is fun. Glad they come. More glad when they go!
    • Dennis - yes :-). 1" wider; 3" longer; 7" higher.
    • Lots to do at work today/tomorrow before taking off Thursday/Friday for cath procedure. Did echo yesterday. Tech stopped and said she needed to get doc and nurse to come start IV to expand to a contrast dye. Of course they don't tell you why. Nerves are shot. Anxious to get this over with.
    • Grenadier is off to shop tonight to get tint and coating. Should get it back next week sometime.
    • Welcome home, Lou! Are you back to work or still on vacation?

    Good morning.

Up at 230 this morning. The jet lag is real. Drinking coffee and will go to the office early since nobody did my work for me while I was gone.

Is this replacing the one you just got out are you adding to the collection, Skip? If it helps put you at any ease - they get to charge insurance significantly more for contrast, so they'll look for ways to supersize your diagnostics. Don't borrow trouble is my advice.

My brother was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night with an apparent stroke. Since re-diagnosed as probable seizure, but they're still holding him for an EEG today. He's got some other stuff going on that his hematologist wants to do a bone marrow tap for that he already knew about before this episode, so I'm staying off WebMD because I know what I'll likely find there. The VM from his wife was waiting for me when we landed in Austin, so the vacation came to a rather abrupt end.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Welcome back, Lou. Hope you brother does better.

You keep a smile on my face, Skip. I car shop vicariously through you.

My granddaughter baked me a pair of apple tarts for Veterans Day, and she and her brother each made me a card. We were out when they dropped them off at the house, so we Facetimed later. I had a point-friendly bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup for supper, then blew my plan by eating an entire tart for dessert. Very tasty. Elsie loves to cook, even at age 11. She amazes me.

    LOL, Mary!

DBIL in town this weekend, asked the same question. I tried my dammdest to do a "chronology" order, and think its accurate.

    Wait for it.

    37!

The one I like best is the next one I purchase :) It might be a sickness - but I like cars. This is one that NOBODY has in our area (or I should say, VERY VERY few).

    T&Ps for brother, Lou!!!!

SGM - apple tarts sound amazing. Freezing here this morning.

    Morning gang.

Welcome home Lou. Well wishes to your brother.

I would have guess a higher number skip. I feel like it's 37 since I've known you.

I'm at five that were mine and Ron had 3 others while we were married, plus I think 2 before. We only had one car the first 7 years we were married. Mine died right before the wedding and I had just spent all my savings on the house down payment and was cash flowing our wedding. I don't really believe in car loan unless absolutely necessary so we made it work with one. Not easy but also not impossible. That decision is one of many that helped us retire at 45.

I'm glad you found a hobby you love. It's fun to see all your new ones.

I have a car loan now. 2.9% was a steal. Was going to pay cash but my money makes way more than 3% in my HYSA.

    Prayers for your brother Lou.

I’m with Steph. I think you’ve had 37 cars since we met Skip.

If DH gets another job next year he said that he wants me to get a new car. I’m wanting an SUV,I think. Something where I sit up higher in than my sedan.

Cold in Indiana today. 55 will be the high. I kicked on the furnace.
