I'm up 1.2 pounds this week. I'm finding it a little challenging to get back to my old eating pattern (i.e., my pattern from before my long trip overseas). Too much snacking, too much wine. Same old story I guess.
I have been running regularly, though, and I'm on-track to get to my goal mileage for this year, barring any injuries or other unforeseen circumstances.
I guess I'll just keep working to get my head back into the game!

Up 0.8 pounds for the week. It could have been worse given some of my choices this week.
Good job Steve meeting your running goal for the year. I didn't have a specific mileage goal, but I did just pass my total for 2023.

Down 0.6. I turned 76 last month and am starting a shift in exercise to functional fitness, which is focused on balance, flexibility and strength to perform everyday tasks. Still cycling for fun and heart health

Well, I’m not unhappy with this week, so that’s good. I’m still in the Red Zone on both my official Studio weigh-in and the fourteen day daily average, but slowly moving down. The reality is that I put myself fairly deeply into the Red when I did it, and as anyone who watched Titanic knows, it takes a long time to turn a big ship. (No, I'm not planning to go down. 😉)
Still getting in my activity and making fewer poor choices, and that’s the key. There’s a chance I could it my free weigh-in next week at my normal weigh-in, but it’s more likely I’ll have to do an off-schedule weigh-in early in Thanksgiving week. That Thursday would be my normal weigh-in, and I’ll just say with what’s planned, I don’t expect to weigh less on the Saturday after, which would be the next opportunity.
And if I don’t? Well, I’d be disappointed in myself for the fact it would mean paying for the first time since October 2022. On the flip side, I’m still here and working it, and accepting the reality that it’s more important to get my behavior and choices under control than it is to hit a number or avoid paying.0
