Happy Friday!
Yes, we did get a lot of rain and feeling thankful! We had rain from Wednesday night through Friday morning here. Have to see if that helped our drought numbers and how much. Fingers crossed.
Hope you feel better @KateNkognito! Glad you are rocking your fast - nice!
Had to drive up the line and back today to pick up a photo we had framed for our CEO who is retiring. Luckily didn't hit much traffic and the roads were not too bad. I find I stress about driving a lot more these days. Turning in to a little old lady. LOL The thing is people drive to aggressive and stupid around here lately that I can't help but worry. Sigh...
I weighed in today and been the same. That's two Fridays in a row where I am the same. I don't think I will weigh in next Friday due to the holiday but I don't plan on falling off the wagon too bad for Thanksgiving.
Hope you have a good Friday and a great weekend! No plans here which is fine by me.0 -
Good morning!
Happy Monday before Thanksgiving!
Working from home today. In the office tomorrow for one day and then off for the rest of the week. Looking forward to not being chained to a desk or computer for a few days.
Our weekend was quiet but good. We bought a few things to bring over our friend's house for Thanksgiving and the market was not too crazy which is good.
On Saturday afternoon we went to a new supermarket that opened up near us recently. We signed up for a frequent shopper card since we thought this will be a good market to go to and the prices seemed good and some things were cheaper than our local Stop & Shop. When we signed up they told us they were putting $10 on our shopper card for signing up! So the beautiful apple pie that we found, with apples from a local orchard in CT was originally $13.99, on sale for a $1.00 off, bringing it to $12.99. Then we applied our $10.00 credit and the pie cost us next to nothing! Very excited to bring this to Thanksgiving!
Pretty quiet here today. Hoping tomorrow is the same. Have a good day! See you soon.1 -
Much less of a Monday than last week! I will take it!
I got the refrigerator, freezer, and part of the pantry cabinets cleaned out before I ran out of room in the trash. There wasn't much in the fridge and just a bit in the cabinets, but we all have a bad habit of sticking things in the freezer and then never eating it. I need to be more intentional about what we put in there and using it up when we do.
Fasting wise, I have been doing well. My calorie total has been a little high, so I am going to really watch that so I can officially hit 20 pounds down before Thanksgiving.
I hope the weekend was good! We did some things outside before the weather gets ugly the next few weeks. I looked at the long range forecast and it just doesn't look good. I think I will definitely need to open up the sweater drawer.
Have a lovely, short week!

@Meghan509, looks like we were posting at the same time! That is a GREAT deal! I am helping cook for Thanksgiving and I am also planning on making a skillet chocolate chip cookie to take for dessert. I might make some bread, too, just because I can and I like to bake and there will be people to eat it.

I am cruising through my last day this week. Five whole days off is going to be lovely!
I hope Thanksgiving is fantastic!
Off to try to accomplish something. I am NOT very productive today. I need to get through this stack of things so I can get them in next week... probably not going to happen, but a girl can dream.
Have a great week!!0 -
Good morning!
Too funny that we were posting at the same time!
Looks like I just missed you today, under an hour ago. Smart minds think alike! LOL
Congrats on the losses! Hope you get to 20 lbs down. I am in a holding pattern and am planning to do a reset on Monday, 12/2. Will work on what that entails while I am off (and most likely AFTER Thanksgiving). Holidays are on my mind.
This morning it was one of those typical commutes where it starts raining AS I am driving to work! Fun, fun, fun! Good news is it was moving and I was on time. Tonight I am planning to leave at least 15 minutes early so I don't get stuck in all the Thanksgiving week traffic. We are expecting some not so nice weather on Thursday which is a bummer. The good news is it should be rain vs. snow. Snow would be a no go. Rain we can deal with.
Today was a flurry of busy until I managed to get caught up. Now I am just cruising through the rest of the day and doing a little clock watching too. LOL
Have a good day and see you soon!0
