End Of Year Goals?

There are 38 days left in 2024 - - just a smidge over six weeks.
In the September 16th LTL, we were asked whether we had any goals between then and the end of the year. I'm re-postng the question and my answer, so that I have easy access to remind myself.
So, do you have any goals you're focusing on for the next six weeks or so?
My goals are to:
- End the year feeling good about/proud of the way I'm eating
- Not gain weight between the middle of November and the end of the year
- Start 2025 feeling good about my eating behaviors versus starting the year in "self- loathing" mode
- Start a simple exercise program
- begin a basic exercise program

Good thought provoking question, at least for me. I cruise by to read your LTL topics. This one was particularily good.
My goals are too stay on program for these 5 weeks and beyond. December can be tough due to the social events with food and drink. I need to have a plan for social events and not stand next to the food table. I'm in physical therapy for my shoulder so I need to continue to be diligent. I ususally am except when I travel. I have to do my PT exercises all the time. I walk about 4 miles a day, except when it rains. Sigh2 -
I really want to be at Goal, or, at least within the +2#. Tough, but doable.1

My key goals are to tighten my eating back up again, which means cutting out the after-dinner snacking and alcohol (yeah, they usually go hand-in-hand). I hope that will help me get closer to my personal target weight, though probably not before New Year Day. I also want to keep running consistently.
In looking these over, my end-of-year goals are pretty much my standard day-to-day goals!0 -

Yeah! This is why I stalled out when I started to respond here earlier. I need to keep noodling on the question. This is a notoriously difficult time of year to follow a weight-loss diet and I can use whatever extra motivation I can find. For right now, I'm aiming to better adhere to my day-to-day targets.0 -
@Brian_19, I hear you on this being a tough time of year to adhere to a weight loss plan. I mentioned in another thread that a dozen years of weight tracking data tells me that this time of year is where I blow it. I'll analyze more deeply when I have time, but I believe EOY gains have been a big contributor to my overall gains over the years.
With that said, I'll ask a different question to you/the group:
Is there anything you can do/want to do over the next five weeks that will help you start the new year with a little extra mojo in terms of your weigh/health goals?
If I can end this year not gaining weight between mid-November and EOY, I will start 2025 with a little extra mojo. If I can end this year not gaining weight between mid-November and EOY AND feeling good about how I'm eating, i believe my chances of getting back to goal in 2025 increase exponentially.

I hate to give a "results-based" answer rather than a "process-based" answer, but to be honest, if I'm under 135 pounds on January 1st, that would be both a mini-victory and highly-motivating based on getting some momentum (ha ha, that might have been that the WW program I started with?).
