@izzyred9400 You weren't late...I sent out my reminders in the morning right after I created next week's challenge...if I want til later in the day, sometimes I forget. No worries...you're a Saturday person, so you weren't late. Nice loss this week!

Y'all need to be more careful in the snow and ice! ❄️🌨️🥶. No more falling. 😊

I second @DaffyGirl88 No more falling. I sometimes make comments about not going out in the cold but honestly I’m worried about having an “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” moment.

@cre804 I love my Apple Watch. All my devices are Apple though and that makes it all very seamless. Everyone I know has switched to Apple.

Good morning Shape Shifters. The weather was alright again in the morning so we went for another walk. My mom didn't want to go too long this time so we ended up going for an hour. At home, we warmed up with some coffee/tea and then we walked to the giftshop in the village. My mom wanted some Christmas cards and a present and I got two cute plastic trays with birds and napkins with Christmas kitties. We started a new puzzle at home so we had fun with that. In the evening we played a word game and of course lots of Rummikub as well. Tinus also joined us on the table for a bit. He was good and sat on the side so we could keep playing. Happy Sunday everyone <3

@looneycatblue I empathize with you and hope you are able to resolve the toothache quickly.

@cre804 I use an iPhone and recently purchased a Garmin because it met my priorities the best. There are so many options that deciding what I wanted most made it easier to narrow down my choices. I had a Fitbit flex about 10 years ago so I was pretty much starting from scratch. I haven’t heard any negative feedback from anyone that owns an Apple Watch.
    This is what I got:

I hope you get some relief when you see the surgeon or at least a solid action plan.

Good morning Shape Shifters. I went for a solo walk Sunday morning. My mom wanted to have a rest day. The temperature went up a lot; no need for gloves and a coat. I walked in my summer pants and was totally fine. It was super windy though, so I couldn't go to the forest. After a shower and breakfast, we worked on the puzzle until my moms partner showed up. We just managed to finish before he arrived so that was nice.
After they left, I biked to the grocery store because I forgot my veggie burgers. Thankfully I can move my knees enough now so that biking isn't painful. My knees and shin are still very sensitive to touch and sleeping is a little annoying, but otherwise it is all good. I also got all my laundry done and I ordered a bunch of jigsaw puzzles. At the end of the year, my mom is going on vacation nearby so we are going to low key celebrate Christmas. Just me, mom, her partner and her brother since he is also on vacation at a firework free park because of his dog. So I decided to get a puzzle for everyone since all of us enjoy them. Seemed like a good excuse to grab some for myself as well! I think Tinus was happy to have me all to himself again because he sat on my lap for most of the afternoon. Happy Monday everyone <3

@jessicakrall8 thank you,it's a while since I was below 10 stone but sadly it's gone up again.I was on my own in the house for 3 nights. It was very peaceful & I enjoyed a lazy indulgent weekend. There was wine & chocolate in the house so couldn't resist.
I'm not letting one weekend sabotage my past week's goals though. So back on it this morning.
Have a great Monday all 😀

Don't forget Steppers, please take a look at the Step Challenge stats chart and fill in the holes by posting your daily steps counts...include the dates as well! It's looking a bit like Swiss cheese this week!

    Thanks!

    Jessica

@jessicakrall8 I can never remember where the chart is. 🤷‍♀️🙃

@DaffyGirl88 It's on the same page as the weigh-in chart...go to the main fat2fit page, scroll down and find the spreadsheet for the current month, click there...find the Shape Shifters and you'll see the weight chart at the top...scroll down and the Step Challenge is beneath it.

Also, the instructions on where to find them is always listed in the FAQ file on pg 1 of every month's chat thread.

@jessicakrall8 thanks for the info! I have senior brain and can't remember anything anymore. Unless of course you need the lyrics to any random song from the '60s or '70s. B)

@CasandraW Thanks! Sleeping was a little annoying, but it is much better today. Not sure if you have updated anywhere, but how is your finger doing?

@Pupowl thank you for asking about my finger. It is slightly better than before the surgery. I’m hopeful the functionality will continue to improve. Right now it has a 20degree bend from straight the hope is to get to 5-10 degrees

@CasandraW That is good to hear! I am glad it is getting better, though I am sure you are very frustrated by how slow it is going.

Good morning Shape Shifters. Neck was feeling a lot better in the morning, mostly a dull pain left. I wasn't in the mood to walk at all even though the weather was pretty nice in the morning. The wind made it a lot colder than I expected. I walked to the mailbox in the village first to post a card and then just went around the fields. Not very interesting, but at least I went. I got several packages delivered in the afternoon. Most of the puzzles I ordered for family and several for myself. I also got the chocolate protein powder again. It is time for Christmas cookies very soon and the chocolate milk and lentil chips are higher in calories. If I want to fit in my two cookies a day, the protein shake will work out a lot better. I am really looking forward to enjoying those cookies for a while! The rest of the day was pretty quiet. I grabbed my next puzzle and did the edge and some sorting. Happy Wednesday everyone <3

@Pupowl Great weigh in and great puzzles. I bought 4 at the library winter sale last weekend. It's risky buying used puzzles as you don't know if all the pieces are there, but for $1 I'm willing to risk it. LOL
