The NFL weekend kicks off Thursday with Rams at 49ers and ends with two games Monday night. There are plenty NFL games in between, plus the Army/ Navy game on Saturday afternoon. What do you expect from your favorite team(s) or player(s)? What about those teams you love to hate? This thread is here for all your football talk.

Does the Army/ Navy game mean anything in your house? My Dad, who was in the Coast Guard during WW2, always liked to watch that game. He rooted for Navy. I carry that on to this day.0

I went to the Army Navy game once many decades ago, it was a lot of fun, but I do not pay much attention to it anymore.0

Okay - who, a month ago, had Bellichik coaching at the college level?1

Yeah Bellicheck in college is not one I would have predicted, we will see how it goes. Is his 24 yo girlfriend moving the NC with him?1

Belichick's father coached college ball. It might be something he always wanted to do. I hope it goes well for him and UNC, but who knows, right? NIL money and the transfer portal have changed the landscape to the point where it seems anything is possible.1

Colorado's Travis Hunter won the Heisman. He played both cornerback and receiver in college. It will be interesting to see what he does in the NFL.
Now that Hunter has had success as a two-way player in football, and with what Shohei Ohtani does in baseball, do you think we will see more young athletes become two-way players? Would that be a good thing for modern sports?

I am a Navy vet. I always cheer for Navy over Army, and I am very satisfied with this weekend's outcome. Got to harass an Army fan friend.
A bit surprised by the Belichik move, but he is quoted as saying that he's always wanted to coach college ball. He may find he prefers corporate pressure to Alumni pressure.0
