Celebrations
Congrats to @Alatariel75 for being the top winner this week! 🎉
And to our other top losers: @Heathere244 and @conleywoods!!
Our team came in 3rd place this week 😊
Christmas is this week, and I know it will be challenging (at least for me), so just aim for a non zero day each day this week!1 -
Sunday Weigh-In
PW: 146.4
CW: 146.5
Low weight of the month: 145.1 on Friday 12/20
Heading on a trip - not sure what the scale situation will be0 -
We made it to PA yesterday and man is it cold! 🥶 We stayed at a hotel last night and my non-zero was getting on the treadmill and walking 2.5 miles this morning 😊 Now we are making our way to CT for one of my family Christmas parties. I haven't seen a lot of this family in like 6 years or more so it will be good to see them!0

Way to start the day on the treadmill @lauren_989
We also started our day with a workout - the Peloton. Two days in a row. We are so out of shape but we are pushing ourselves.0 -
Remainder of my steps for the week:
Dec 18 - 4454 steps
Dec 19 - 9116 steps
Dec 20 - 4487 steps
Dec 21 - 7016 steps + 36 minutes Peloton0 -

How does everyone celebrate Christmas?
What traditions are important to you and your family?0 -

We're pretty low key and standard - present exchange, turkey/ham lunch etc, but the 2 favourite non-traditional traditions we have are:
1. that the last presents exchanged are the next year's calendar which is always created by my brother, where he and my nephew have posted for a bunch of photos that my brother has then photoshopped into pictures from movies, TV shows, posters etc with always hysterically funny results. He's been doing it for years, and it's the highlight of the gift giving as we all laugh ourselves sick.
2. By late on Christmas day afternoon, we are all so over Christmas that we sit down as a family to watch a movie, and it's always the least Christmassy movie ever. Think Evil Dead, Tucker and Dave vs Evil, John Wick etc etc. It's always fun!

We either go to my in-laws or up to my parents in RI. My husband likes to have orange cinnamon rolls for breakfast and I like to drink hot cocoa while opening presents. Otherwise not many traditions per se, but will bake cookies and give them away!0 -
Hi everyone,
I've been a little lax on tracking and the scale was up today. Getting myself back to tracking today. So happy I hit my calories today. My husband and I had a date day. We went down town for a cookie decorating class. Then a little shopping and lunch at a fancy restaurant overlooking the river and the falls. Our cookies turned out so good. I also love getting to have special time with my husband.
We always stay home for Christmas. I grew up with divorced parents and was shuffled around on holidays. I just won't do that as an adult. My husband loves to stay home too so it works.
Every year we bake gingerbread houses from scratch and have a decorating party. I will be getting the houses ready over the next few days.
We also have a Christmas eve tradition of decorating cookies as a family, getting new Christmas pajamas and watching The Polar Express. After the movie we go outside and ring silver bells (replicas from the movie) and sprinkle magic reindeer food (oatmeal and glitter). Then off to bed.1 -

Hi Everyone just wanted to pop in and Wish Everyone a Very Merry Christmas/ Holiday.
We had a lovely cruise, it was kind of funny though, 2nd day my fitbit completely died, and when I got home my scale wouldn't work because it needs new batteries, so I am taking that as a clue not to weigh in just yet. I shall see you all in the Jan chat.

I am so sorry that I went MIA.
December has just so hard for me between work...my birthday was on the 16th...my husband's birthday is on the 16th. It always turns into more of like a birthday week for both of us depending on what day it falls on... but it was wonderful no cooking for like a whole week it's a holiday🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't know everything is just crazy....
I can't believe it's almost Christmas Day December will be over before I know it😁0 -
What’s a non-zero?

Great question! A non-zero day is one where you make at least one step towards your goal. It can be anything and is usally small. Even though your weight may still go up, you did something positive. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks to those who shared how they celebrate Christmas. And wow @conleywoods those cookies are truly impressive. They look too beautiful to eat!!
Another day, another Peloton workout.. three days in a row. Our butts are so sore getting back to it!
Sun Dec 22 workout:
32 minutes Peloton + 7117 steps1 -
Hi!!
Weighing day today😊.
PW: 174.4
Cow: 175.5
Merry Christmas everyone!!
Loved reading how you celebrate on Christmas Day. We do more stuff on Christmas Eve than on Christmas Day. Cookie decoration, watching Christmas movie etc. Christmas Day is basically opening the presents and just enjoy being home.
Beautiful and Yummy looking cookies @conleywoods.0 -
Previous Weight: 154.6 lbs
Current Weight: 153.4 lbs
Hope everyone is doing well! Work has been nutty, workout plan is still MIA, but hanging in there! This next week is a planned maintenance week, so my expectations for next week's weigh-in are low. Have a good one!1 -

Our Christmas starts tonight. I'm Polish so we always celebrate on Christmas Eve. We have a buffet dinner with desserts, children open their Christmas Eve boxes with presents and we play games or watch TV.
Tomorrow is usual Christmas dinner with turkey and all the trimmings, presents etc
My boys said they always felt lucky because they had Christmas Day twice 😁
I Hooe you all will have a lovely and Peaceful Christmas ❤️🎁🎄0 -

Having a great trip to RI and getting to see my parents, siblings, and nieces!! Got the presents under the tree and was told my oldest niece (she is 8) can wake us up at 7am. Ate way too much today and now going to try to sleep.0
