Well, shucks. DS#2 came down with a bug on Christmas and has been quarantined since then. He looks a little better this morning, hopefully he is on the road to recovery. We are supposed to do a western dinner theater tonight with the kids and inlaws. He may actually have a good excuse not to go, LOL.
Hopefully it won't be too tedious. I'd rather hang with Laddy.
Alpha Babe and #BAL are getting used to the new property. Thankfully, I do not need to worry about rattlesnakes this time of year.
A good community is hard to leave behind. I know the feeling. Although in my case, my goodbye is elongated. Good luck with what's next, Steph and Ron.
Lou, Leo just has one of those faces. LOL. Hope the ankle is better.
Mary, the kid is just amazing. Sounds like you are getting lots of DGS time too.

Sorry ds2 is ill, Lee. If it's the intestinal bug going around here, it's bad from what I hear.
Lasts about 3 to 4 days and it's both ends with a fever. Bad enough I'm not taking dgs to the rec center indoor playground or library today, with the holiday germ infested public around. I keep him home at his house and play with tge new haul he made.

You'll have to do snake patrols in the warm months, Lee. One of the many nice things about Puget Sound: nothing venomous lives here. Even poison oak is hard to find. In Texas I found copperheads in the yard, rattlesnakes on the golf course and had to dodge cottonmouths when fishing - and poison ivy was everywhere.
Steady rain all day today, so nothing outdoors on the calendar. Banking, errands and shop time.0 -

Morning BBB
We are mostly ready to go. Our condo is having water issues. No city water since Tuesday so using the storage tanks. Yesterday they were empty for a bit until a delivery. We might decide just to leave early.
We have massages scheduled this morning then really nothing else today, so will evaluate after. It's about 5 hours to the border. The line will probably be shorter today but it will be nearing dark so I prefer to wait until at least Saturday.
Tomorrow we are invited to be on the parrothead boat at the boat parade but could skip it.
I ate way too much red velvet cake last night. Dumped the rest in the trash.0 -
Good Morning,
After being told last week cancer had spread where treatments would only make DW worst, after test Tuesday they feel they have a chance of curing cancer. Prayer does work!
Cool here with fine mist and wind, they claim we will reach 52 today.
Took all Christmas decorations down and packed away for about eleven months yesterday.
My life insurance bill came yesterday, DW must feel really good about what they told us yesterday, check is already in mail.
Lee, as DGS grows up DS and DDIL are going to have to fight ladies off.
Tomorrow heading to LA for family get together, that's lower Alabama, brothers and their families.
