Up ridiculously early, but crashed early last night, so I got 7 1/2 hours sleep. THe new norm? And the days are starting to get longer again.

Some good news there Sam, hopeful at least. Will pray for you and DW in the coming days...

Got the wheels on the piano yesterday, and stood it upright, was able now to easily roll it back up against the wall. Now for the more delicate repairs to start. I can at least put the large moving equipment away in storage and have my living room/ dining room back again.

Lee, your GS looks like a future veterinarian.

Steve, all ribbing aside, be careful with your activities. Don't make things worse.

I need to get out and do a longer hike to relax and get a better sleep rhythm. Too much indoor work and busyness recently.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Mornin' gents.

    Praise God, Sam!
Well, Mike, he's a future something, LOL. I am completely smitten with the wee lad.
Poor DS#2 has been hit hard with a GI bug and is in quarantine.
Watching DS#1 and DDIL parenting is interesting. DDIL is a bit more relaxed than M was, and DS#1 is a better hands on dad with the boy at this age than I was. They are doing a great job.
    My dinner last night.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

Mike, I am excited for you and your piano restoration. Keep the pictures coming as you make progress.

Lee, that was an awesome photo with your grandson. I'm very happy for you!

Sam, keeping you and Joanne in prayer.

I may have set myself back just a bit yesterday lifting Christmas stuff back high on shelves. Sigh.... I will rest it more today.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

    That's good news, indeed, Sam.

Sassy was a bit glum, last night, after bidding goodbye to her two favorite kids. Elsie, Andrew and their parents are heading to a mountain cabin today, for a long weekend of powder snow and skiing. Happy we raised a very active outdoor family.

We have banking to do this morning and some other errands to run. The lowland weather is pretty bad, with steady rain, so probably no walking, maybe some shop time.

    Good Morning,
Cool here with fine mist and wind, they claim we will reach 52 today.
Took all Christmas decorations down and packed away for about eleven months yesterday.
My life insurance bill came yesterday, DW must feel really good about what they told us yesterday, check is already in mail.
Lee, as DGS grows up DS and DDIL are going to have to fight ladies off.
Tomorrow heading to LA for family get together, that's lower Alabama, brothers and their families.

Awe Sam that just seems like great news about your wife and the new diagnosis.
Wow Lee I could just eat that picture of prime rib and eggs. Wow indeed.
Yup Dave. Lots of snow in the cascades now.
We had a very wet Christmas day with over an inch. Still some local flooding near us and ducks swimming on the adjacent golf course. Quack quack. doing stuff at home today along with local bike ride. Its not terribly rainy right now.

    Good Morning

Sam, your news about Joanne is received with great joy! I will keep praying though till the victory is complete.

Steve, did you not read Dr Lee's counsel regarding your ribs?

Wet and soggy day over in Florence. Thankfully the rain stopped for a bit which is when the delivery truck showed up and we were able to get new living room furniture delivered and placed, as well as the washer/dryer. We have reached out that the sellers have transferred the new roof warranty to us. Only the original owners can do that which we discovered in the papers the left for us along with a nice note. We even met our letter carrier. The rains returned as we were driving up to the lighthouse and we had trouble finding the entrance to the parking area so we gave up and went tourist and did the Sea Lions Cave with the boys. We have been before but options of activities were limited. I got rather a bit drenched. Jer heads home today and we start organizing to move out of here on Monday. Tomorrow some of our possessions will arrive at the house and we will need to unload them ourselves.
