First, I can't believe I'm the one starting the thread this week. WOOT WOOT

Super long - grab a cup of coffee or tea :)

Happy 2025 Ladies. So sorry for being MIA. I signed off work at noon on 12/20/2024 and did my best to stay offline until I returned on Monday, January 6, 2025. I did jump on twice in between, thinking it would be a quick handle of something and then pop on the board, but I ended working no less than 3 hours both times, so I just stayed off and out of my office. I did want to get online to check in and also we got a new Cricut machine and I wanted to explore more, which we all know is easier on the laptop than the phone or iPad, but nope. After getting caught for so long, I just stayed off.

We had a wonderful Christmas with my kids and Rhea here. The other grandkids were with us Christmas Eve for luminaries and fun. Enjoyed them the entire time they were here. Everyone left by the morning after Christmas, so hubby I had some time to recharge. The day after Christmas we cleaned and moved food so that when my friend came to clean the house, I would be done making a mess (moving lasagna, manicotti and beef stew for freezer etc and just general regrouping of the holiday foods that still remained). The kids did take quite a bit of food with them (lasagna, manicotti, beef stew and honey baked ham and sides). Hubby I still had enough leftovers. Friday - I crashed HARD. Hubby putzed around, but I was down for the day. Our new bed did arrive on Jan 2. So between Christmas and NYE I reorganized my closet and the bedroom to fit this massive bed (from a queen to a king). Removed and boxed my smaller sized clothes and grouped my closet into appropriate sizing to make my life a bit more bearable. Finished the deep clean on our room as we prepared for the new beds. I love the new bed. Quite comfy. Hubby is working his way on finding his sweet spot. We have the flippable mattress where one side is firm and the other plusher. I think his is on the firm side, so I’m going to have him flip it this weekend. I think he needs softer, but he does raise the feet to sleep and hasn’t been as sore waking up. So YAY!!!! We did so much in home reorganization that we did not make it to storage to attack mil’s paperwork, nor her room. Maybe after we take down Christmas, I’ll bring a box home to work on. We won’t be able to go to Disneyland until February, so I can use some of the weekend time starting that process. Gosh I don’t want to put away Christmas yet. I do love the way my house turned out, it’s everywhere and I just love it.

Healthwise. Saw the podiatrist NYE and not much more he can do with the nail. It’s not quite as bothersome as it was but the next option is to remove the entire nail and pray I don’t grow anything bizarre back. He’s amazed at how tenacious my nails are and that the other is growing a toothpick nail. Pray that this one doesn’t and maybe it’s still just the final healing process.

Hubby and I didn’t do anything for NYE, but we were both a bit run down and we continue to battle something. Slight cough and congestion. My sister told me about a tea mixture from Costco, Honey Citron & Ginger tea. It’s in a jar and looks like marmalade. I bought it and they’re large jars. Hubby likes the taste so he’s consuming it. I prefer to add a ginger tea bag or a mint tea bag with it. In just a week, we’re making a dent in it (54oz – massive). Just in case you’re looking for something different. It does have slivers of orange, lemon rinds and super thin slivers of ginger at the bottom when you’re done. We haven’t been around anyone since Christmas until this past Monday, but we’re still feeling it.

Ok. So I did weigh in this morning… 250.6. I was cresting 255 a few weeks ago and as I mentioned before I am meeting with my doctor in a couple of weeks. He had recommended the Ozempic/trizepitide options before, but I feel that’s going to adjust me like the Optavia did and possibly in even worse ways so I’m focused on getting back in line with normal food. My metabolism is so messed up. So, we are making better and smarter choices. I won’t deny that I’ll still enjoy my chocolate pieces, but just being more mindful of all meal selections as well. The chef was here on Monday and we had salmon, chicken salad and steak (hubby has his meatloaf), but we also have baked sweet potatoes, broccoli and zucchini. I feel like we’re doing better overall since we hired her.

Sarah – first I want to apologize that I did not see that you had lost your step niece. I’m not sure how I missed it but please know my heart goes out to you and your family. Were you feeling well enough to do your treatment on Monday and get that started? I hope you were feeling well enough to go. I know this has been a stressful situation just to get an appointment. Good news on Teddy’s test results. And yes, fur babies can get expensive. A friend of mine has their cat on special food they pic up from the vet and she said it’s crazy expensive. But fur babies are part of the family and important to keep them healthy. I hope you had a great trip with your sister and BIL. Your potluck night sounded like you had a good time. And agree, be home before the crazies start driving home.

Sheesh – can’t wait to hear about your Cancun trip and how much fun you all had. I love to hear the things you guys do as a group. It helps to know I’m not the only one who loves family time.

Kelly I’m hoping Ellie is recovering well and into physical therapy and that you guys had an amazing Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years . I checked on your temps a couple of times and bbbrrrrr.. We are now 40’s at night and 60’s in the daytime and I’m in sweatshirt, sweatpants/leggings and fluffy socks most of the day as I sit at the computer to work. When I start moving around, I switch to the tech shirt, but we keep the house at 68 (66 when hubby leaves – I like it colder) and then bump it back up when I head upstairs for the night.

Hi, all. Lois, so glad to see your post. I was beginning to worry about you. Happy the holidays were fun and that with a couple of exceptions, you managed to stay away from work.

Last week I said that the wheels were falling off. Today, I'll add that the axles are falling off, too! Honestly, I had great hopes that 2025 would be better than 2024, but so far, that is not the case.

Sunday night and Monday we got 6 inches of snow, and so Hopkins went into emergency only appointments mode and called and cancelled my simulation. They rescheduled it for Thursday, but unfortunately that didn't happen either. That head cold that came on so suddenly left as quick as it came (only a couple of days), but as that resolved, I became aware of pain in my lower belly. Honestly, it felt like trapped gas at first and I thought it would pass, but it just kept getting worse. And since it was lower central belly and not on the left side, it didn't seem to be diverticulitis again.

But since it didn't seem to be going away, I sent an email to my primary care doc on Monday evening describing all my symptoms. She responded right away saying that I needed to get in the next day. Her office actually called me Tuesday morning before I even had a chance to call them, saying that she would see me at 12:15. Meanwhile, our girl Kitty, Bella, started coughing and wheezing and it was pretty scary, so we had to do an emergency vet visit at 11--right before my appointment. What a morning!

When I got to my doc's, she came in and instead of greeting me like she usually does, she sat down, looked me level in the eye and said, "I think we may have a problem. The symptoms you described could be serious, and I have already made an appointment for you to get a CAT scan with contrast tomorrow. It was the quickest I could get, but we need to rule out a perforation of the colon." Then she drew blood for a bunch of tests and had me leave a urine sample.

Needless to say, that was scary, but I managed to not obsess over it. I know they fear a serious infection if you do have even a small perforation, but my temperature was elevated only slightly, so that helped keep me centered. So yesterday, off we went for the CAT scan, and thankfully I got a call at 5 p.m. from my doc saying that she already had the results and that it is indeed diverticulitis and not something worse. It feels different because it's in a different area of the colon and an area that did not show diverticuli when I had my last colonoscopy. So she wanted me to head to the pharmacy right away to get started on antibiotics last night.

Meanwhile, I called my nurse navigator at Hopkins and she said that we should hold off on starting treatment until this is resolved, and they cancelled my Thursday simulation. She called again this morning to check on me (didn't I tell you that Hopkins is worlds different than the other group?) and we're going to reschedule once everything is good with the colon.

So I have not been walking or exercising since the January 2nd, and I was surprised to see my weight yesterday morning (which I posted today). That's probably the result of not feeling like eating much for the past few days, and doc said it would be best to stick to a liquid diet as much as I can for the next two or three days at least to give my colon a rest.

So, so far, 2025 stinks, too! :s But I keep reminding myself that it could be so much worse. After a lifetime of going to the doc only for a year-end physical or to get my thyroid checked, I am now just getting some payback!

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to let you know what is going on. I am still looking forward to making 2025 a healthier year. I have gained a little bit of info from all this, too, which may help me move forward once I can. Since I have a number of days with no activity to speak of, I also have some data on how many calories I burn without exercise. And it's pretty much what I expected. I typically burn between 1200 and 1300 kcals, so those excercise calories are really what was keeping me in a pretty good weight zone. Can't wait until this soreness and pain goes away and I feel like moving again.

Sheesh and Kelly, can't wait to hear about your holidays. Lois, thank you sharing that photo. You look so happy there with Minnie and Mickie. :) And I noticed the shorts on hubby and your short sleeves. We're in the high 20's/low 30's today with lots of wind! Arghhh. Enjoy those moderate temps.

PS: came back to say that that is about the same time that I started with Bodybugg, too. So glad we all did!

Oh Sarah!!! I'm keeping you in my prayers for a speedy recovery. How scary but so happy your doc and Hopkins are so helpful and responsive. So glad it's not a perforation. So that is great news. Focus on getting better.

Yes, Christmas Eve was actually warmer than normal - even for us. And it has to be very cold for hubby to put on pants/sweats. He'll double his t-shirts and wear a sweat SHIRT before putting on pants. I didn't need my Christmas sweatshirt until close to 9:30 and then we started clean up and it came off again. I've been bummed that it wasn't cold enough to wear any of my CHristmas sweaters/sweatshirts. This week, however, since I'm sitting on my bum working, I've been able to wear a sweatshirt and cozy socks since I don't move around too much, but Christmas Eve and Christmas day, short sleeves and yes, I even wore shorts for part of the day. Our lows are in the low 40's but that's not until I'm asleep and thighs have been in the higher 60's, today only 62. I'm not complaining.

And yes, I am happy that I made the decision 15 years ago to buy the body bugg and got to meet all of you!!! Thank you all for being such good friends and supporters!!!

15 years ago we started with the BodyBugg?! Yeah, that sounds about right for me also. My heart surgery was in 2009, and I hired my trainer in 2010. I'm so glad we all came together in our health and fitness quests. <3

I'm back and have a little tan :) Wow, we had such a fantastic time! I'm so glad we did this. When we got back, however, I did get sick. A low fever, stuffy nose, and a day or two of nausea, stomach issues. Nothing to go to the doctor about, and I'm better now. I had my trainer Monday, but not Thursday. I've been laying low with not much energy until today. Anyway, we had a blast . . so much to tell. I'll post some photos tomorrow and tell you more. I did too much today to make up for time lost from feeling bad, so now I'm worn out, lol.

Sarah, you've really been knocked around with illness, dealing with treatment schedules, and now this diverticulitis infection. When it rains it pours. You're in my thoughts, and I know you're very strong and will get through all of this, including pet troubles. One day at a time, one thing at a time . . I'm sending you some of my strength (which is low, but might help).

Lois, what a cute photo of you and your hubby and your Mickie and Minnie! Glad you had a nice holiday, and I hope your toe issue resolves soon. There is nothing more annoying than foot issues and pain. . I know a few people who have used the Ozempic (or similar) to lose weight. It works well, but from what I understand, not without side effects. One person I know couldn't deal and went off of it, but another one has had good results. It's a discussion to have with a good doctor who knows you and your body for sure.

Kelly, thinking of you and hoping all is well with your daughter, and all of your family. Check in when you can.

So glad to see your post, Sheesh. I was beginning to worry. I am sorry to hear that you had some of the winter woes after you got back, and I'm glad you're feeling better. I am looking forward to hearing all the trip.

I am getting a little concerned about Kelly. I know with the kids, work, etc., she's busy, but I think her parents have had some health concerns, so I'm hoping all is well.

My belly is still pretty tender. I was hoping that after 3 days on the meds, I would be better than I am, but I think this got pretty bad before it got addrssed, so I probably just need to be patient. My sister reminded me that I mentioned that my belly was a little off at Christmas. I had almost forgotten that. With my niece's death, getting things scheduled with Hopkins, needing to get down to NC to help sis, and all the Christmas rush, I was just not giving my own self enough priority. I suspect that I'll get two runs of these antiobiotics like I did the first time I had diverticulitis. I'll also likely be referred to the gastro doc. Meanwhile, I was trying to do just clear liquids, but I developed a bit of nausea and I think these harsh meds on a empty stomach might be reason. So I decided to at least have some crackers. Who knew crackers could taste so good!

Hubby is going on a business trip to Miami next week, so I hope we don't have more snow and ice until he can get back. We got several more inches last night and the wind is whipping today! I know Miami sounds good considering these conditions, but he dreads going. They have problems at a site down there and efforts to fix it remotely have not worked.

Well, I am going to try to move around a bit and see how I feel. Will check back in tomorrow.

Welcome back Sheesh!! Glad you and the family had a great time. And yay for your tan. I used to get teased as I wear SPF 100 (50-70 regularly). I'd go to Hawaii and come back from Hawaii as tan-less as I had left. Hubby and son came back super dark as they have the island color naturally. I slathered the sunscreen hourly and them...maybe if they burned one day... haha. Sorry you didn't feel well when you returned also glad it wasn't anything so severe to require a dr visit. I'm sure your energy will pick up in the next few days.

And I can't believe how long ago I started the BB. It was a great decision! Especially because I got to meet you ladies!!

Sara - I'm so sorry you're still feeling under the weather!!! You have had some trying times! Hoping you feel better soon.

Hubby and I focused on packing up Christmas in the house. So sad. We got everything inside down and packed, including Mickey and Minnie ;( I missed seeing them when I came downstairs this morning. Anyhow, with getting it all down, my back spasm is back this morning...started a little bit last night and I did stop and got the ice pack. But this morning when I had groceries delivered I had a couple of gasps as I was putting away the veggies. I have just a couple of the muscle relaxers left from the first incident and I don't see my doc for another 2 weeks. UGH. I'm using Tylenol and Advil and pushing through today. I am pleased we were able to get everything packed into the crates. We will take them to storage this weekend, unless hubby goes tomorrow or Thursday without me. We just have to pull in the lights off of the shrubs (I forgot about them) and hubby has to dismantle the deer and nativity (they are corralled on the porch). Sadness packing up Christmas. Anyhow, with packing up the decorations, I sure got a lot of movement in.

I'm sure Kelly is wrapped up with the kiddos, cabin and the New Year, but we're thinking of her.

Oh, and we're cold now. Low of 34 and high of 57 today. bbbrrr. I'm happily wearing my Disney sweatshirts and pants. And we're hoping to go to Disneyland on Feb 1! I'm pretty excited about that.

I had my trainer today, and though I'm still not feeling 100%, I am feeling better. Hubby thinks I just got so run down from Thanksgiving into New Years, and caught some bug or bugs while susceptible. I think he's probably right. I'm ramping up vitamins and a probiotic and water intake. Trainer was easy on me today, but I still felt it was hard. I'm going to focus more on me this week.

Sarah, I really feel for you. Having not felt well since the 4th, I think about you a lot. I'm anxious for you to begin your treatments. I know it's frustrating for you to have illness and an infection to deal with first. What antibiotic do you take for diverticulitis? Is it Cipro? I've taken that before, and it's really tough. Nausea, even a rash. I hope you're dealing with at the antibiotic okay. Sorry your hubby is having work pressures on top of yours and your kitties needs. Hopefully, he's feeling well.

Lois, we put away all our Christmas the day after we got home. (Another reason I got run down, I think.) It really feels like the house has nothing in it after it's all put away, doesn't it. But then, I start to enjoy the tidiness and more minimal environment. It feels like a "fresh start" to the New Year. Please take care of your back pain. You can't deal with that AND foot/toe pain! Too much. And, we all need to get a plan here for ourselves on our health and fitness goals and how to get them done this year, and Lois, you will need your feet and back. I'm thinking on my plans, and will post more Wednesday.

I'm concerned to read that Kelly's parents might be having health problems. I'm not on Facebook, so please pass along anything you see her post there. My goodness . . she had a tough 2024 too.

I'm going to try to post a few photos from my phone later. I hope you ladies don't mind. We had a nice trip, and I'm so proud of my kids and grands <3

Sheesh - I look forward to your pics. Love seeing the family. And yes, once the crates move to storage, I'm sure I'll be back to liking my regularly scheduled home ... lol

My back really spasmed last night. I'm not sure what is happening and I couldn't find my muscle relaxers. But I was thankful for the adjustable bed and I woke up quite a bit less tense. It's still present, and I hoping it will subside today without the need of an ice pack!! My 2025 focus so far is going to be eating better.

The toe is doing a bit better...the true test will be when I hit Disneyland again in February or March. If it's still bothersome, I don't know what I'll do as the only other option is to go back in and have it completely removed and I'm not confident with that direction.

Ok. Need to be in Scottsdale tomorrow for meetings so hoping my back is better for driving in tomorrow.

Happy New Year friends! Apologies for the long hiatus. Life has been busy, as per normal haha

Christmas was good this year. More relaxed than other years and it didn't seem as rushed. The kids went to their Mom's on Christmas Eve, so Shawn and I had a night to ourselves with some small finger food, TV and cuddled the pup. Christmas morning we went to Jodi's to watch them open presents, then they all came over to our place Christmas night for dinner. Shawn's Mom came over too which was nice. Her shoulder has healed well. She turns 74 this year and is definitely slowing way down. She walks with a walker and I have noticed she's just overall a bit slower. It was nice that we could have her over. Boxing day we went to one of Shawn's Sisters in the morning for coffee and so the cousins could exchange gifts.. then Christmas night our kids went back to their Mom's again and Shawn and I went back to the same Sister's for the evening for visiting family and supper. The kids came back to our house the next day and we went to my parents for supper and gifts. My brother and family came as well, so it was nice to have everyone together. My parents are doing as well as can be. Dad is definitely slowing down a lot with his Parkinson's but he never complains and I could tell he was so happy that we could all get together for the holidays. Mom is doing ok too. She's still struggling with pain in her hip/back but she was well that day. I'm sure she was feeling it after everyone left though.

New Years Eve was also great. Shawn, the pup and I went to the cabin Dec 29-1 and Ella and Jodi came out with their dog for the day/night. We had drinks, appetizers and played Skip-Bo, then when it was time for fireworks, Shawn took his snowmobile down to the lake with Ella on it so we could watch them and do the countdown. It was a relaxed but fun night... just the way we like it. Tyler was with his girlfriend for new years.

After all of Christmas, we were all pretty exhausted and run down. Hard to get back into the swing of things for work, but nice at the same time. Ella is doing really good and her surgeon and physiotherapist are amazed at how well she's doing. She's still in some pain, but is working through it and is managing to walk without crutches.. plus she's even able to start doing her indoor cycling a bit to work on that movement and muscle.

After all of that, suddenly on Jan 9th at 3am Shawn started feeling awful with horrible stomach pains. He thought it was food poisoning, so pushed through it. I went to work at 630am and kept checking on him, but by 1pm he finally couldn't handle the pain anymore and he had to call 911. He was almost passing out when I rushed home. (I work 7 mins away from home) I beat the ambulance there and it was so hard to see him in so much pain.. he was in tears it was so bad. The paramedics knew right away from the way he was describing it that it was probably a kidney stone.. so they injected him with some pain meds and he took 2 extra strength Tylenol and they brought him to an Urgent Care hospital. I met him there. Let me tell you how ridiculous our health care system is. He got there and they sent him to wait in the waiting room... we sat there for 7 hours before anyone even checked on him. That's when they took his blood pressure. 8 hours after he arrived, he was finally taken into a room. BRUTAL. Thank goodness he wasn't in ridiculous pain that whole time and whatever the paramedics gave him helped take the edge off. They did a scan and sure enough they saw the stone. They said based on the size it should pass on its own, although they warned us it seemed to be possibly causing a blockage. They told him he didn't have any more stones, so that was good. He got 3 prescriptions and we finally got home just after midnight. He was in more pain the next day until I got him his prescriptions in the afternoon. By the next night at 2am, he passed the stone. He said he didn't even feel it. It was the size of a small pebble. Crazy. Now he has to wait for urology to call him and has to bring it in as they like to study it to make sure there's nothing else happening with him. I'm soo relieved he's back to normal.

On top of that, the kids Mom is in Mexico, so we're watching her dog. Love him, but he has bad anxiety and we can't leave him alone in our house or he destroys it. Like literally tears walls and doors up. We've had him since Saturday morning and she's back Thursday late at night. Needless to say the sleep has been minimal.

In saying all of that, I have been focused on getting in more movement and eating better. I'll have to start weighing in starting next week. Seeing some progress would be nice lol

K... back to work! Stress is up there as I have been planning for our department's annual 2 day safety conference that starts tomorrow.

Kelly - oh man I feel for Shawn. Years ago my son had to take our 6'5" paramedic neighbor to the hospital for that kind of pain and he also had kidney stones as well. My son was in high school at the time (now 37 - so awhile ago)., but he still remembers how much pain our friend was in. My DIL recently had one and my son said it brought back his memories and fear. Never want to get one. So glad you had a great Christmas and holiday. It sounds amazing. Keep the stress at a minimum (ha - I need to follow my same advice sometimes). I fear both kidney stones or gallstones. SO much pain. Glad Shawn is feeling better.

Kelly, I’m sorry that you and Shawn went through a kidney stone experience! From what I understand, it’s one of the worst pains there is to have. . Good there aren’t others there. Thank goodness the paramedics gave him more than Tylenol!! And, your holidays were nice and relaxing, so I’m happy you had that before. It’s good to see your post. I’ve missed hearing from you.

Lois, how long of a drive is it to Scottsdale? Driving and sitting make my back ache. I hope you find your muscle relaxers. I hope you can drive okay after taking one.

I’m still plugging along with low energy today. I have a plan for a walk and housework I’m behind on. We shall see how much I get done.

Hi, all. Sheesh, those pictures are wonderful. Such a lovely family. And every time I see you, I again question whether I should color my hair. Your's is beautiful.

Kelly, I am so happy to see your post. It sounds like you had a very enjoyable Christmas and New Years. I am so very sorry to hear about Shawn. I've heard that kidney stone pain is among the worst pain that a human feels. And gosh, I hate that they left him in the ER for so long. That often happens here, too. It seems fewer people are going into medicine at any level these days. I know how hard that was on you--seeing him in such pain and then sitting for that long!

But mentioning ERs, here's another chapter in my health saga. (I tell you, I'm being punished for all those super healthy years!) As you all know, I was diagnosed last week with diverticulitis and was taking my meds and trying to stay on a mostly liquid diet to rest the colon. And frankly, I think I over did the diet part (not enough liquid and I should have started including more soft food). So Saturday night, it was close to midnight and we were getting ready to go to bed when I developed severe cramps in my left foot and the lower front of my left leg. The pain was incredible. Hubby said I was screaming, "I don't know if I can stand this!" Anyway, he was bringing me wet, hot towels to try to help the cramps when I turned really sick to my stomach. A few minutes later, I passed cold out on him. So he called 9-1-1. The paramedics got there and check my vitals and told me that my blood pressure was very low and so was my heart rate so they suggested I go to the ER. I told them I wanted to avoid that because norovirus is surging around here and the only time I've been seriously ill, it was from that, and I'm getting ready to start radiation. They told me I could refuse transport and had me sign that I had, and then things turned worse. The female paramedic had asked me about pickle juice and went into our fridge and brought me some. I started to drink it, but suddenly (sorry TMI) got diarrhea and started throwing up, and seconds later, I passed out again. So they told me this is no longer your choice, we are transporting.

Thankfully, the paramedics had listened to my concerns about two of three local ERs and took me to the third one. Because I came by ambulance, they took me back to a private room immediately and started IVs. They had tried in the ambulance but couldn't hit a vein. They also did another CAT scan with contrast, and there was some good news from that. My diverticulitis was resolving and the little tear was not seen. But I ended up staying there all night and the next morning the doctor told me she wanted to transfer me to the hospital for 24 to 48 hour observation. Thankfully, they could not find an ambulance to take me and they will not let you go in a car. So by the time an ambulance was available, there was a semi-private room on the observation wing ready for me. But that ambulance was terrible. I don't think it had any shock obsorbers on it!

When I got to the hospital (that was round 1 p.m.) I was checked out first by a nurse and later by a nurse practitioner. That took a couple of hours waiting, but they looked at my blood tests and CAT scan from the night before and said they did not think I needed to be there--provided that my potassium level had improved. They ran another blood test and it had, so they released me about 4 p.m. I was very relieved because my roommate was a woman who had had some type of procedure and she was moaning in pain and crying out for a nurse. The NP there wrote me a script for a nausea med, too, which I was grateful to get. And I was home on my own sofa by 5 p.m. Considering all the duplicative work and the ambulance rides, I'm wondering how much of these bills will be denied by insurance. But I can't worry too much about that. Kelly, hearing how long Shawn had to wait, I'm now even more grateful that those paramedics listened to me and took me to that satellite ER. They took me through the ER at the main hospital to get me to the observation area, and I swear, that ER is the 7th ring of hell!

Sheesh, I'm looking at the photo of you, your hubby and the grands, and trying to figure out who is who. I think I can easily identify the UT grandaughters and the two San Fran grandsons, but I'm getting lost with the others. But they are all so good looking! And the beach is beautiful.

Lois, sending you good juju for the back and the foot. I meant to tell you that I had missed your WOOT WOOTs and was glad to see those the other day.

Sheesh, you're right--we have to turn all this around and get some good plans in place to be healthier and more fit by the back half of 2025.

Well this was a long one, so I'll go. Will try to weigh in tomorrow. Will not share steps. LOL

Omg, Sarah!! I’m stunned reading your post! So, I’m guessing your diet led to dehydration? And your electrolytes out of whack? I’m so glad your hubby was there, and called the paramedics. My gosh, we’re all getting hit, aren’t we? I’m still not all the way feeling better. I cancelled my whole day tomorrow so I can just rest. Hubby wants me to go see a doc, but I only have a low grade temp, nausea, and lethargy. I think I just need rest.

Speaking of which, it’s late here so I’m going to bed. Thanks for the compliments on my family. I’ll go thru the relationships another day, Sarah.
