Good morning.

It'll be interesting to see how lifetime government employees with no corporate reorganization experience retool the harder hit agencies with the buyout. They'll find out pretty quickly that the high performers who can make it on the outside are the ones who will take the buyout.

I'm off to Arlington today. That group I've been helping lost a third of its staff to go work in the administration. So.. the guy that does have reorganization experience has to help them figure out what to do next. I'd say it'll be a fun challenge, but I won't be able to throw a ball with the dog for 3 days.

Next week, his nuts come off and I get to have a sleepy exploration of my backside. Had to explain to my boss why I didn't put detail in my time off notice yesterday. He was like, "Yeah. I wouldn't want that in the the internet forever either."

Joanne is feeling good today because she is pumped full of steroids, back for shot at 12 today.
She has DS coming over to shave her head tonight.
Pablo wore out from spending night at lodge and most of yesterday at doggie daycare.
Much warmer today with gradual warming to 70 next week.
