    Mornin' gents.

Punxsutawney Phil will likely see his shadow in about 15 min, meaning 6 more weeks of winter. Ugh.
Getting caffeinated, clean house, and hit the road.

    Onward and downward ;-)

Rained yesterday and now it's 1º this morning under a clear sunrise. DB in NH has 11º below zero. (Not sure if I mentioned-- the Mt. Washington weather station had a windchill of 97º below the other night. About 200 miles north of here and 6,000 feet elevation.)

In times past, today was the day that Christmas decorations used to come down, 40 days after Christmas. Of course back then the season started on Christmas Eve, not Black Friday or Halloween like now. I kept my tree up once this long, more needles on the floor than the tree.

Decided to skip cleaning the tuning pins on the piano. If I were going to flip it and sell it, okay, but it's an arduous job (220 pins, time a few minutes to do each one) and the tool I bought for it doesn't really work well. It's not necessary to tune and regulate a piano. It's now standing up again with the innards all back in except for the keys, and I can walk around my place. Things are organized, and I can find my stuff. Chaos is not helpful...

Sipping Starbucks instant, not the greatest. Ran out of ground coffee and need to shop I guess.

Lee, enjoy Tenn. where the weather is hopefully better.

Prayers for everyone dealing with health challenges and their DWs also.

    Have a good Sunday everyone.

    Good morning!

Frankie woke me at 5:00 this morning, but I dosed in the chair for a while. I have a cat on my lap and hot black coffee, so life is good.

I'm not going to let some stoopid rodent determine if I'm going to have an early spring or not. We are going to have an early spring!

Lee, I hope that you have an awesome trip. Stay safe.

Bob, be careful with slips on the ice! I now have a much more healthy respect for ice. I went to the grocery store last night. Pushing the cart still hurts my rib. My rib is doing much better, but from time to time it still lets me know that it is still healing.

Mike, I admire your work with the piano. So cool.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

We're a long way from Puxatawney, so I don't think that shadow applies. Snow showers right now, though not much accumulation. There will be no shadows around here today.

Feeling pretty much normal. I do plan to get back to church. I'm eager to take my seat with the choir.

I have been trying to lose the 7 lbs. I gained in the fall, but it is a slow go. But I stepped on the scale yesterday and it read 153 lbs.! That is down 20 in one day. I stepped on again and it said the same. A quarter hour later it was back to 172. I think our 16-year-old WW scale is starting to get senile.

    Good Morning,
    Been churched,
We thought Joanne had blood sugar in check, at 4 this morning blood sugar 42, drank orange juice and ate Oreo, sugar went up to 56.
At least I have not gotten a call from personal care home concerning DMIL acting up. She may be kin to Dave's WW scale.
    Safe travels Lee,
Hoping for a slow week, no doctors appointments as of now.
After today we are expecting 70's for next week though we know to expect more cold weather.

    Good Morning

Cloudy, drizzly day so shadows will be rare hear. But on a more serious note, this day gave us a great Bill Murray film. Serious arthritis flare up yesterday as we ran errands. It slowed me down till I could get home and take some Tylenol ER and reset my brain. It will likely take a month or two to mentally adjust to being off Meloxicam and NSAIDs. We ended up buying 2 end tables at the big furniture sale. Worked reorganizing my prayer room/music room/study/box storage room. I went as far as the stiffness allowed and finished up most of this morning. I forgot to defrost some things so we out for dinner. We had a talk with our son about "now that your car is fixed can we get it out of the garage?". He will move it back to the driveway today and we will move ours in. We also need to be able to move around out there as we move forward with settling in. I also asked if that meant he was going to start looking for a place to live, and he admitted he was putting it off. Our plan for this house did not include him staying in a room and using the office as his place of work. He needs to get out on his own and we need to push him along, but it will be hard not having him around.
