Snowed all night but it looks like there’s only an inch on the ground. With the snow and ice forecast, DS and I decided their neighbor would take care of the dog today and I’ll arrive tomorrow morning and stay till Friday. They have a cute house in the suburbs of Boston. I’ll work on their piano while there—I’ve learned to regulate the touch now, which I never got to do the last time I was there. Rory is a sappy dog, wants to be petted and get in your lap, but weighs 60-70 lbs. I’m guessing. Golden retriever I think.

Church today; while I'm there I will put in a word for Joanne to get up back on track. And you hang in there too, Sam.

I went for a short walk yesterday around sunset on the forest road in our state park. Snow just started coming as I started walking; it was almost dark when I got back to my car. State cop with his K-9 was parked there with a box trailer behind his truck, asked me if I saw any snowmobiles...

Not sure if I'll be online next 5 days...

    Mornin' gents.

Sorry, I've been MIA for a couple of days. M being home and work has been distracting me.
Continued prayers for Joanne. Sounds like she is improving, but not as quickly as you would like. Praying you can get her home soon.
We got some snow with ice at the end overnight. I should get out soon and start moving it.
M's Valentine's Day coconut cake arrived from Savannah's Kitchen (somewhere in Georgia) via Goldbelly 2 days late because of the weather. She LOVES that particular coconut cake. Although late, it arrived in good condition and she shared a piece with me last night. Darn good.
Am envious of you going to watch the Sled Dog races, Mike. I have a field trial friend whose girlfriend trains and runs her dogs in those races. Mostly German Shorthairs or pointer mixes, interestingly enough. No long distance stuff, mostly 3-5K sprints.
My knee replacement is looming. I am supposed to arrive for surgical prep at 6:15 AM Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, another big snow dump is supposed to arrive on Thursday and M has no desire to hop on tractor and throw snow. I will ask a neighbor to help out.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Hope Joanne can go home soon. Ongoing prayers for both of you, Sam.

Our 67 lb. Golden is a big lap dog, Mike. She loves a good cuddle.

My arthritis pain is mostly just felt in my hands these days. My knees got better with increased use, strangely enough. My back has been better since my laminectomy surgery a year ago. The hands are an issue, but I work around it. Ibuprofen is my pain med of choice, but that can cause some long-term issues, too.

Took the grandkids to see Mustafa: The Lion King, yesterday. Entertaining, but not as good as the original. Grandkids have almost aged out of Disney movies. Time flies.

    Good Morning

I join the prayers and hopes for Joanne recovering and headed home and for the departure of all cancer. May God's peace and healing encircle this family.

Lee, Wishing you well on your knee replacement journey. Not alot of fun those first few days but so worth it in the end.

I am still rather tired from last weeks travel and gathering for Mom. After a full day of lessons yesterday I am quite sleepy now. I have a couple of duclimerfest concerts today and will organize some things around here as well.
