We had Collin this morning and Ronan this afternoon.
No trainer today...she's not feeling well.
    Made soup.
    That's all!

Kathy not sure of the female actress. The one guy was from that 70's show. And the other was Mark Wahlberg. New release.

Chris sounds like a rest day for you.

Work is cold. Major heating issues. The judges are even wearing coats in their chambers. 51 degrees in half the building. Glad I wore my wool under my uniform. Rest day.

Planned on battling the dinos again in my main tank. Checked the heat as is my habit. Not sure what went wrong. But the tank was 63.6 degrees. I got it working. But still don't understand why it was off. It was 74.2 when I came to bed. Still a few degrees off. I hope nothing dies because of it. And I wish I knew what went wrong.

    Shelley,

I hope your tank is working right again soon, wishing you best luck with it, and all its creatures,

Another rest day!! Collin Duty this morning.
Rain all day long! Wind is only 17mph right now. I really did want to walk to the post office today. :'(
Don't know if I'll be seeing my trainer tomorrow...we'll just have to wait and see how she's doing.
Ronan and Grandpa are trying to get homework done. Ronan is having a rough time of it, tho. Comes with the weather, I think.
Going to try and finish my book now.

Paula so far everything is ok again. Just wish I knew what went wrong.

Kathy great job. Keep it up.

Chris sorry you missed your walk. Hope tomorrow is better.

Watched my granddaughter in her school concert. She plays the flute and something else.

Did 4 sets of 17 pushups. My legs are still sore from Tuesdays leg day.

We have had several teens murdered by other teens this last year. Crazy, not normal for our cith of Casper. I hope it is not a sign of what is to come.

Shelley, I hope it's not a sign of what is coming for Casper.
Your push ups are crazy great!! You have a very talented granddaughter. How old is she?
Today was sunny and cold. Wind was at 17 mph but I went out in it anyway. Man! It was rough coming home!! I did 5.41 miles in 106 mins to the post office and back this afternoon. Collin and I did 1.71 mines in 44 mins to the farm then around to the dog park then home this morning. He didn't mind the wind at all. In fact, he gave me back his blanket cuz he didn't want it covering him up!!! Crazy boy!
Tomorrow I need to work on taxes...ugh.
    That's it for now.

Chris she is 13. Wind gives your walks a bit of resistance training! lol. Collin is such a trooper. And thanks. I have to force myself sometimes to do the pushups.

Finished 4 sets of 17 pushups tonight. We bought Chinese takeout for dinner. Rocky bought me a new Apple watch. Not sure I want to use it yet. Might wait until I retire.

    Happy Valentines everyone.

Shelley - I don't remember if I've asked you this before but have you ever watched the documentary "My octopus teacher?". It is probably one of my favorite documentaries of all time. As a lover of aquatics I think you would really enjoy it. It is such a beautiful movie. Highly recommend.

We've had a lot of snow off and on. Sounds like we're going to get maybe 4 or 5 in today. I've been doing a lot of snow removals :-) My husband isn't able to shovel since one of his hands is impaired right now with the Parkinson's. I also think we're going to get a bigger storm on Thursday which sounds snowblower worthy :-)

Finished my last iron infusion yesterday. I go to get blood work in 2 weeks to see if my iron and ferritin have improved enough. I can already see them going up with the lab work that they give me every week. I think I do feel a little bit better. I'm always tired so it's hard to tell :-)

It's been a very exciting this past week with the Philadelphia Eagles winning the super bowl and yesterday the super bowl parade. I was able to work on the couch and watch it with him. It also had it on in the clinic where I had my last infusion so that was fun.

I feel so unfocused with the eating. Frustrating for sure. Today is a new day though.

Hope everybody has a nice Saturday. I'm going to a Galentine's tea with my sister and some of her friends. Everything is very small and bite-sized so I know I won't have a hard time controlling myself!

Looks like Ronan has a cold and Sara caught it. Ronan tried to do school Friday but ended up in the nurse's office. Pete picked him up from school. Pete was going to p/u Collin from us but ended up getting locked out of their house w/the car & house keys inside. Pat had to take Collin home. It was not a Fun Friday at all!!
I did 5.21 miles in 100 mins this afternoon to the Ruins and back. It was beautiful out there. Lots of folks walking.
I'll have to work on our taxes tomorrow...sigh...
Hope you all are having a fun weekend.

Karen it was so nice of you to suggest my Octopus Teacher. I haven't and should.
I really hope that the infusions help. I watched the Super Bowl. Not a great fan of football. But my husband watches. He wanted The Eagles to win. Hope you start feeling better soon.

Chris as someone who xrays wallets all the time I see spare keys often in them. Maybe suggest he puts a house key in his wallet.

Spent all morning cleaning 3 tanks. They looked great when I was finished. Pushups done. My shoulder sure pops from the frozen shoulder. I wonder if it will ever be done.

Shelley, I hope you shoulder gets better. Good job on your tanks!! SIL said he had to get a 'Hide-A-Key' rock...Pat told him any rock or brick would do. EGADS, MAN!!!!
Well, I made a grocery order this morning then put together our tax info for our tax lady. Now just to get it to her office. Got our fingers crossed!!
No walking for me today. Blood draw tomorrow morning then my trainer at noon.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!

Chris I have one of those rocks. Mine is really old. It looks so realistic. It is with other rocks. And plants grow up and hide it in spring.

I gave 19 baby mollies to a friend. He put them in his new saltwater tank. I hope they do well. At least they won't keep multiplying in there. New babies won't survive.

Off to do my pushups. Then I also need to do my taxes.

I completed 20 minutes on the recumbent, a 25 minute FitOn indoor walking workout (it’s cold in Atlanta), a 15 minutes upper body workout and a 10 minute core workout. Trying to get in 60 minutes 4-5 days a week.

We leave on Sunday on our cruise. Looking forward to getting away,

Kathy!!! Take us with you!!! Good job on your workout!
Shelley, this was the fourth time SIL has locked himself out. The fourth time he has said something about getting the rock. Maybe I'll get him one for his birthday... :# is that too MIL-ish??? I hope doing your taxes wasn't too painful.
Got my blood draw done quick and easy then had lunch w/Pat then Big 5 then drop off taxes to Tax Lady then home then off to my trainer for a 60 min workout. Now I'm gonna drink coffee and read!
Have a great Monday, my friends!

Kathy you have a great trip. Whatever did retirees do before cruises?

Chris I don't think you should go. Wouldn't a ship make you sick? Maybe not then again. Taxes are done. I didn't have to pay in more so I was happy. I would get him a rock for sure.

    Leg day done. Working tomorrow.
I was busy yesterday. Our hot water tank went out. So out with the old one. Went and bought a new one. 12 year warranty on it. Hardest part was getting it off our truck and down the stairs.

I dug my stereo system out of storage (been there since landslide) but couldn't fit it together. A friend came over to figure it out and determined I have two CD players and no amplifier. So simple. Very embarrassing!

But it had required 3 hours of lifting and moving bankers boxes of books this morning to make the pieces available. Counting that as a workout.

Paula is it now working? Can you play vinyl on it? So exciting.

Did upper body workout at the YMCA. Sadly learned my granddaughter is now moving also. Her options to stay here with friends fell through.

Shelley, you're right...no ship for me!
Blood test came back normal! So glad cuz I don't know what all those words mean.
We had Collin this morning. He and I went on a walk to the farm and around the dog park and home. 2.22 miles in 62 mins. He was holding his stuffed Sky and Everest for the trip. Sky jumped out of the stroller twice. The first time I ran over her ear...ugh! The second time I didn't see her fall over the side and when Collin was telling me she was out there I didn't get it. I thought he wanted to cross the street and that was weird. When I realized she was gone we were at least 5 long blocks away...I turned around and walked as fast as I could until we spotted her. At that very same time a young lady found her, picked her up and was going to put her on top of a bush that was along that sidewalk. I called to her and she jogged across the street to us and gave Sky back to Collin. She was very sweet.
Needless to say, I was a bit tired by the time I got to my trainers for a 60 min workout. Crazy morning!
Ronan is here now playing video games w/Grandpa.
I might get to go shopping w/Sara tomorrow. We'll see how everything plays out.
Have a great Friday and weekend, my friends.

Ronan had a blood draw today and brought over donuts as his treat for being such a brave 8 yr old!! He's just amazing! Then I went shopping with Sara then I made soup. That was my Saturday. Walking to the post office tomorrow.

I found an old cable tv box and a record player; but still no amplifier; so it's essentially useless. But an old rinky-dink boom box plays CDs fine, so there's music.

    Good job, Paula!!
I managed 5.39 miles in 107 mins to the post office and back. The wind got a bit cold coming home but I made it. I had on new shoes, so that wasn't the fun. I have too much trouble with my feet...always have. Got to break these new puppies in...ugh.
We'll have the boys for a couple of hours this evening so Sara and Pete can have a date night. I was going to watch the new episode of Reacher. Oh, well...another evening, I guess. :'(

Paula, haven't watched it yet, but I'd watch just to see Alan Ritchson mess with the bad guys!! ...sigh... We'll get it on Prime.

Chris so glad Sky got back to Collin. Need a leash on it. :D There is no breaking in shoes. They fit or they don't. Keep looking. I love shoe stores with treadmills. You can try them out.

Paula my kids gave their father a record player a few years ago. Going to see if he will use it more. I love old records.

We went bowling with friends. I somehow got a cramp in my thigh. Still hurts and that was Saturday. Took a muscle relaxer.

    Night all,
    Shelley
