    @lauren_989 I'm interstate for work this week, so I'll weigh in Friday, if that's ok!

    I woke up early this morning despite being in a hotel and not having a puppy to jump on me, so I got up and went to the hotel gym. I managed to jog for the longest time yet, and it felt good! Aiming to do it again tomorrow!

    Time of the Month for me today so I don't have high hopes for this weeks weigh in 😔 I feel really hungry for the last couple of days 🫣

    I'm just trying to see if I can post photos, so fingerss crossed you can see Maxi 😍

    Also, one of our coworkers is leaving after 25 years working in the hotel. We went for drinks yesterday and oh my! I surely didn't miss the alcohol! I drunk 3 glasses of red wine and I feel awful. Partly because I regret drinking it, but it was quite an occasion and I didn't want to seem rude. The person was buying us drinks, if I was buying myself I would try to sneak in something non alcoholic, but that's life 🤷

    My next planned drinking event is a weekend after this one, so I have at least 10 days. Hopefully enough time for my liver to recover from the last one 😊

    So March so far

    I'm happy with it 🎉

    Good Morning, Happy Wednesday !

    So I did my dr appt, saw a pulmonologist and did a function test. When they did a ct scan they saw a spot in my lungs. I am a smoker. Well I haven't smoked since that day, I can tell you that kick in the teeth worked, because there has been zero desire to pick up a cigarette. Results of the visit… The spot isn't caused by smoking nor is it cancer, or something that could become cancer, it's a GGO which is a marker of inflammation and will most likely go away, he will check again in 6 months. My function test was good, he said based on your test I honestly wouldn't have pegged you for a 30 year smoker. So that is all great, but I am not picking up smoking again.

    Now I still have to figure out what my issue is, he thinks it might be gastro, but I've already seen a gastro. So I have a message into my primary care dr, and we will see what she thinks.

    This is the part where I give up on the dr visits, and just self treat till it goes away. Happens every year.

    Exercise has been good, so has food, but I don't think weigh in is going to be great, atleast based on the scale this morning. Hopefully it is better tomorrow.

    Ended yesterday in a deficit, making egg roll in a bowl for dinner tonight which is allegedly 3 servings but it's so bulky that we usually have leftovers. There's a couple recipes out there for it, the one I use is from eatingbirdfood. It's like the filling of an egg roll. Also, shout out to greek yogurt. I've been putting it on my bagels.

    @strong_fit_ells your dog is so cute!!

    @Gidgitgoescrzy congrats on quitting smoking, hope you have answers or feel better soon! If your lungs are this powerful now, I bet in a year you'll rival the cheetah.

    I am going to try and participate more…I have trouble finding time to do anything lately…keeping up is NOT my strong suit…

    I am so far behind again - super hard week. To keep it short so I don't start crying again…too late. My daughter lost the babies. One had heart problems and because they were identical the other was too stressed. She had to go in yesterday and be induced - just a hard week all around😟😭💔

    On the up side if there is one - I bought my sons VR from him and have been enjoying Les Mills Combat on it…such a good workout…kept my mind busy so I didn't think too much…

    @Gidgitgoescrzy I'm so glad your lung scan turned out ok. And congrats on stopping smoking! 🥳

    I think the time change is finally catching up to me. I've been awake until midnight every night this week! I am exhausted today. 😴 Wasn't as active today either. I had a meeting during lunch and then my hubby wanted to play a game we started (pandemic season 2). Funny story is we played the first season at the beginning of Covid.

    Tomorrow I have a dinner meeting, so I hope/plan to wake up early to exercise. It's so much harder when it's dark out in the morning to get out of bed!

    @fourathomej so sorry to hear about your daughter, that is so sad.

    @lauren_989 I was definitely feeling the lost hour earlier this week. Last night I slept terribly, too, but that was mostly because I fell asleep with my glasses on, headphones in, light on, and woke up very confused at 1:30am. ugh.

    Confession time - I binged on Tuesday and yesterday, and haven't eaten well today either. Of course feel gross and terrible about it now. I have been thinking about trying to see a nutritionist, I think some might be covered under my insurance (although @Gidgitgoescrzy makes a good point, the US healthcare system is a total crapshoot and absurdly expensive) - I feel like I need to completely re-do my approach to food. And I've been having some pretty bad reflux this week which I hate. Keeping pepcid and Tums nearby at all time. Double ugh. Weigh in tomorrow will be bad.

    Well, today was a rough eating day, I feel you @Kali225! Time to get back on track tomorrow! Plus, I woke up at 1:30am and have been awake for over an hour...grrr....

    I did get a walk in today which was nice. I started a garmin 5k training program and really like it so far! Plus it gives me some interesting articles to read.

    I won't be at home tomorrow morning, so I'm posting my weigh-in from today! Gonna have a fun weekend at an anime convention. Lots of ambiguous calories ahead, gonna prioritize protein and water. My step count is gonna be real nice, especially since… yeah, there's DDR and other active games to play. 🤣 There's a panel on healthy habits inspired by anime on Sunday and I'm definitely going, lol. If anyone reading this wants inspiration to exercise, Mashle is a really funny anime to get that from… Imagine Harry Potter getting through school by treating every class like it's PE because he can't actually use magic.

    I got out for walk/jogs yesterday and today! Although I did eat slightly rough yesterday and the day before. This week was rough and I am exhausted.

    This will be a busy weekend! I need to start and finish a book for my bookclub by Wednesday, as I am the one hosting 🙈 I also need to figure out what I will make and de clutter the downstairs.

    My onions and tomatoes are doing great too! I need to transplant them this weekend into bigger containers.

    @Kali225 It took me 2 hours to go back to sleep. I'm surprised I'm not more tired tonight. Nice loss!

    @ElfBodGoals great loss! Enjoy the weekend at your anime convention!

    @Alatariel75 how has your week been? Busy with work?

    @micki48 getting back into tracking a full day is no easy feat when you're out of the habit! way to go

    @strong_fit_ells your dog is beautiful, you are already a big stepper with your work but I'm sure she's motivation to take even more steps

    Well, that week totally flew by. We have been beyond busy with some news I'll be able to share next week. So, for the first time in ever, I forgot to weigh on Thursday. Oops! It's snowing again here which is a bummer as we had an errand to run about 1.5 hours away but we don't want to contend with bad roads so it will have to wait. I had a bad doctor's appointment on Wednesday and it was a kick in the pants for me to get to business. I made a giant smoothie bowl this morning and I'm eating that as I type this. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
