Rare restaurant meal out. Jambalaya at Claim Jumpers. Delish.

Stuffed peppers again for two meals. I'm not sure if I answered or not so… I don't blanch the peppers. I like raw bell peppers. So the first meal, I eat the peppers raw. Normally i will bake the next meal for 30 minutes at 350. But I tried microwaving them for 5 minutes and that works just as well for me.

Yesterday I had a pretty good day.
Lunch was a wrap with bean salad, avocado, and feta. On the side I had a Korean sweet potato.
Dinner was a red lentil dhal served over a combination of rice and cauliflower rice. I also had a mini naan with it.
Snacks were a greek yogurt and some chips.

Hi been a crazy last week was eating ok but never log on ,so this week I did a meal prep of foods to only eat for the week first picture is some of my breakfast ideas for this week as today I made an egg omelette with spinach and peppers ,the rest are mix and match for lunch and dinner
today lunch I picked up big tortilla never do for the carb count but happy I did lol
Lunch tortilla wrap with peppers,greens,carrots, few tbsp of the black/red beans ,oz chicken some cheese and tomato and tsp each of salsa n sour creme ,so each day I eat these foods tonight
D is sweet potato,beans ,asparagus,rice,and I forgot to take a picture but I made mini meat loaf so that is included
snacks is popcorn,mini bags of vickie chips or fruit
and I always have my daily tims for coffee{total of 2}
I do not mind eating the same foods with this variety I can pick something different with out it being to repetitive😊
also my hubby will eat some of the chicken,rice,boil eggs and carrots but my son enjoys the rest of the food with me .I try to keep that in mind as I make a Hugh meal prep and also I made buckwheat and talong with the rice,veggies I make it into a chop for my bird…multi tasking lol

I do wish i wasn't so picky on asparagus. I managed to make it once that I really loved. Every other time I couldn't chew them. my brain wouldn't allow it even though i liked the taste.
I won't be adding much to this over the next few days. My boyfriend called what I made 'goup' I kind of agree. it's edible but a bit bland. Not even worth listing the ingredients. Every one else's food looks fantastic though.

I been eating basically same stuff will post new meals as of Monday today was
Brunch 2 egg bites with peppers n spinach,vegan bacon and 3 bites of cinnamon bun with 1/2 cup berries
D 2 small slices of cheese pizza and my tim's coffee
I know need to make better choices 😊

I didn't track calories today. I was supposed to be a evening out with mom but we have a storm through. I started off the day with cottage cheese because I felt I needed something. I just ate what was left in the container.
lunch was cheetoes corn puffs. probably half the bag. It was a surprise elder sit day. My aunts granddaughter's other grandmother was in a bad car accident last night and my aunt went to the hospital while she had surgery today so her granddaughter wouldn't be alone if the other woman died.
and I was hoping to have a picture of a bacon cheese burger… i ate goup with cottage cheese.
so you have company in the 'should make better choices' category

WOW!!! I am so sorry to hear about the accident I am hoping I am hoping as you read this she is doing better…and I am taking each day as a lift style and it sounds like you did not eat to much so why not have the indulge we are been there…me many times 😆

D was 2 mini taco I/ teatime was small shortcake along with coffee and the book I am reading.I will be eating very similar so I wont keep boring you with pictures hahaha I am always interested in any books ideas you have😍 tonight I will have popcorn for a snack

First topline goal for me was cals to maintain weight… no attention to macros, so plate of icecream for dinner, right??? LOL

When i came up for air, thought hmmm, healthy that I like? I try to do that now, then doc limited carbs for health reasons, and that is when I can struggle - no more plates of ice cream.
Baking chicken, potatoes and vegs for dinner... it will be yummy…
And for now, i can't resist the old favs so not buying at this tme or I would revert. My fingers would glow orange! Lol

and taking the odd pictures has made a difference I am down a few pounds…😊

i have no idea my total calories for today. I had planned a tuna casserole and 2 or 3 halo top ice creams just to let my mind have a play day but my aunt threw a wrench in the plan.
1 Bojangles sausage biscuit. (without jam) the biscuit was perfect <3
1 Banana. Couldn't refuse it, it made the lady I was sitting for feel good
my aunt's left over fries and chicken breast (she's lost a huge amount of weight.)I was then told of a bag of cheetoes corn puffs that were hidden for me. I resisted eating them because I would probably eat the whole bag. So I am saving them for the next time I go over and plan that in the day.
1 halo top ice cream - cookies and cream… it was lovely
1 serving of tuna casserole.so i don't think I did too bad for a unplanned day.

Lunch chicken veg soup
Dinner made a bananna craisins walnut bread in 8x8 pan (1/8th about 300cals, 37 carbs) enjoyed 1/8th warm bread & butter, hindquarter, 1 & 1/2c leftover mix green beans, pea & diced potatoes
- about 700 cals, 46 carbs - tad higher than target for meals but ok across the day after lighter lunch.

Hi been away all last week and I see these was no activity lol .I decided to redo the basement in purging and all was going good till the day I decided to treat myself …and I end up with food poison so there went the rest of the week….I did not need to visit the ER this time but was very close to it .
Sunday I do brunch as posted my guys had hash browns n bacon was not interested in it and for dinner Tuna casserole …😊

I am back from my Convention weekend insanity and I ate horribly. The Convention Center did not have great food options. I mean, the walking taco I had Sunday was pretty damn tasty, but not at ALL healthy. Much less the pizza and hot dog I had the other days. But I am no longer able to survive a full Con day with only snacks so I ate what was there.
Today I plan to have:
Breakfast: 3 dates with PB
Lunch: Salad wrap (if the wraps are still good lol) with greens, feta, chicken, cucumber, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and dressing.
Dinner: Greek falafel bowls (greens, rice, falafel, tomatoes, cucumber, feta, and tzatziki)

No pictures today. getting back into the swing of things.
I've made chicken soup with corn, peas and carrots. It was fairly easy to make but I have determined I am not a soup person. So I likely won't be doing it again.
And popcorn.
I've determined I don't really get satisfied from eating. I will eat until what I have is gone if I let myself. So when I can find a way around that I make adjustments. Meal prepping is one way I do it. Dividing servings and putting the food away before eating keeps me from eating everything I cook.
I did have rule about 1 treat at the beginning of each month. Cause that bag of cheetoes will not last me 7 days. I'm good to make them last more than 7 minutes. So I changed white cheddar cheetoes (1200 calories) to cheetos corn puffs (720 calories). then decided that pop corn 120 calories and i have to physically make it. I sorta wish I could replicate the taste but at least the texture is similar.

yesterday:
ice cream… I think nearly half of my calories yesterday was ice cream. sadly it is not on the menu for today as I'm going out to eat with mom.

string cheese
surprisingly a yummy combination.not sure how many calories the day totaled. had that been it… I would have known. but my boyfiend made garlic shrimp… very garlicky shrimp.
today
felt a bit peckish so I hate some hummas and bell peppers. I will likely add some herbs to the hummas next time.

Hi I need to be logging in my food this trying to balance everything with challenges,and everyday life as a mom wife my oldest dog turned 16 so It a bit more hands on and by the end of the day I am tired
Today B was grapes/herbal tea

tea time Tim m with 1/2 chips…could of done better
S soft taco with lettuce n cheese
and my evening snack yogurt/grapes and reg tea I ate very clean yesterday but pm my snack choice and frozen burrito for dinner I was not to hungry today ,😊
