Church, then 2 hr drive to Rockland to see DGS in a hockey championship. He's 10, played with the Cape Cod Coyotes for several years. I fall down on skates more than I stand up.

Dense fog this morning and icy on the ground. almost fell going onto my balcony to see how cold it was. "Freezing fog".

Ran into a conundrum regulating my piano. Final step is to bend the "damper spoons" on each note so the damper lifts when the hammer is halfway to the string, using a hook that reaches underneath in back where you cannot see what you're doing. Hard enough, but this piano from 1908 doesn't have straight spoons, they have a half-moon hook shape in the middle. And instead of bending fore and aft, they turn and unscrew, not supposed to happen. Scratching my head.

Time for breakfast. Going to wait till it warms up and icy ground thaws before I go out.

    Have a good Sunday…

    Good morning!

We had some wild storms last night, but no damage that I can see. Frankie let me sleep in until 6:30 this morning.

Today is Sunday rest day, so nothing planned. I want to get out for a nice walk with my camera. It is 30 degrees colder than yesterday, but will still be in the 40s today.

Mike, you do have a an interesting challenge. I love to do research. I hope that you find enjoyment in researching a challenge like this, as well.

Frankie is always on a leash unless she is on our acre, and I am always near enough to her to step on her leash. She does not cross our property lines.

Prayers for Sam, Joanne continue. Prayers also for Lee, Bill, and Dave.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

I'm sure you will figure it out, Mike - probably invent a tool to do the job. Fascinating from a distance.

Yesterday, I worked in the shop to rough out a cherry bowl, washed the Tacoma, then trimmed and mowed the lawn, all by 2 o'clock. Then I took a nap and read a book. Today will be less energetic: church this morning, then running some errands with Rita this afternoon.

    Mornin' gents.

"I'm sure you will figure it out, Mike - probably invent a tool to do the job. Fascinating from a distance."

    Ditto.

Yes, I am probably a bit more active than optimal post op, but there is only so much time a fella can take to recuperate.

In spite of smoking a brisket and a pork belly overnight, I got a better night's sleep last night. Brisket and pork belly are going to a luncheon for a field trial meeting today.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good Morning,

Lee, you have a way of always making me hungry.

Nice this morning, rain this afternoon and storms tonight and tomorrow; highs in 70's by mid-week 80's

Lots to get done today, have to leave by 6:30in morning, still up in air whether I'll have to stay overnight or be an outpatient.

DD will come out to take me.

Sam. glad to hear Joanne's oxygen level is holding up better.

Oh gosh Mike I have to read more slowly. I almost had a heart attack listening to you talking about your DGS age 10 playing with the coyotes of Cape Cod. Then I realized it was the name of a hockey team WHEW! And then hearing you talking about spooning with your piano. All I ever did was play with the tuning of an old piano.

Oh my Lee ya had me at smoked brisket and pork belly!! I would belly up to that in a heart beat for sure!!

Sending Ts and Ps for all in their needs today.

    Good Morning

Mike, my money is also on you to figure it out and probably jury rig something to make it work.

We had fun exploring yesterday up river. We stopped down in old town for some tea first. The incoming tide was stronger then the river flow sow the river was flowing backwards for a while. A bit bizarre. Lighthouse celebration today. We might go but the rain could make it difficult to access. We

Might head to the Cinema and stay dry. The are showing The Columbia River Canoe Project which looks interesting. Appears to be a one day event.
