    Good morning!

We are expecting our first day of sunshine in several days. We are in a very active weather pattern. We have chances of rain each of the next three days. So, I'm taking advantage of today.

I need to trim our pampas grass today. This afternoon, Connie has a hair appointment. I am taking advantage of that by going out with my bike and my camera. That sounds good to me. After Collin gets up later this afternoon, I'll do the regular house cleaning.

My weight has been creeping up since I broke my rib in December. I want to get control of that again. I'm at 175.3, and that crosses my "red line".

Sam, praying for you and for Joanne as you face all of your doctor appointments this week.

    Have a great day!

Had a nice brunch yesterday. DGD told us she will be teaching in Micronesia after she graduates. I don’t even know where that is. Got to meet DD’s boyfriend and we all went for a walk around the very hilly neighborhood after dinner. Was very chilly and windy for Easter, rolling whitecaps on the lake we walked by.

I think my GKs are all recovering from chocolate toxicity today.

My apnea doctor says lots of daylight and then avoiding screens in the late evening help to regulate sleep cycles. Probably when the knee allows more running around with the dogs, that will help too.

Got bike and rack out of storage cube, flat tire seems to have fixed itself after I inflated.

Online piano technician advised an easy way to fix my cracked bridge. He has 50 years of experience so I trust his wisdom. Have to find thin, slow curing epoxy somewhere. Much, much simpler than the onerous textbook operation I read about.

    Have a good day.

    Mornin' gents

Well, I reversed seared a nice NY strip for myself last night. I splurged by topping with cowboy butter while it rested. Had a nice salad and oven roasted green beans as sides. I was prepared for company, but my field trial buddy had a 4 hour drive home and a very unpredictable environment when he got there (wife is divorcing him after discovering affairs) and he wanted to get home before dark. I'm absolutely not condoning the affairs, but I am trying to help him deal with the fallout constructively. The truth is they have been unhappy for a long time and should have separated before hurtful things happened. She is still madder than a wet hen and wants the world to know that what he was unfaithful to her. The world is still turning and the sun will come up tomorrow.

At least he got good news concerning two of his dogs yesterday. We hit the clinic first thing after coffee and toast to run some tests and both passed with flying colors, and then we did some field trial training (he has FIVE dogs), so hopefully, he de-stressed a bit.

"… apnea doctor says lots of daylight and then avoiding screens in the late evening help to regulate sleep cycles. Probably when the knee allows more running around with the dogs, that will help too. "

    Amen to that!

Bike and camera sounds like a fun day.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Rita had a bad dream, calling out in her sleep, at 3:30, which woke me up. Then Sassy started whining at 4:30 and I gave up and got dressed. Maybe a nap in my future.

We had a nice Easter. I didn't attempt to count points. Brought some leftover ham home. I'll have some of that with a sweet potato for supper. Point friendly, today.

    Good Morning

Easter was quiet. I didn't get out as I was occupied in the kitchen all afternoon. I was a little rusty since I hadn't baked a major meal like that in a while but managed to get people fed. Nobody died, so its a win. It appears I will be eating lamb sandwiches for a while based on the leftovers. I am not sure what the day will bring except for some rest and a walk.

DD had a coupon for a honeybaked ham so we had that with homemade scalloped potatoes that were to die for albeit chocked full of calories. Had some homemade pastries too. Too much for sure. Good to see DD and DSIL for sure. I gave my daughter a grafted Orange Paruche cherry tomato and a Wall-O-Water to teepee over the top of it in her raised bed or other container.

Oooh Mike Bike and camera away I say!!!

Oooh Lee ya had me at NY strip steak.

My neighbor unexpectedly dropped off a couple of more tomato plants so I will be planting them in containers with protection starting today.

Easter was a good meaningful service and the Easter breakfast was great too.

    Cheer all.
