    Great day dog training yesterday. Then grabbed a couple of steaks and salad fixings and went over to cook dinner for a bachelor food critic buddy who just had shoulder surgery. One steak was from Aldi's and one was from a local butcher. The prime cut from the butcher was only slightly better than the Aldi's steak, but was twice the cost. We ate well. I probably do not need to eat today.

    Good to hear they had the collar conditioning in their plan, Lou. Happy belated birthday!

    Hope today goes well for Sam and Joanne

    It's not raining this morning so will head out for a hike soon. Probably will try to stay close to town as rain is forecasted. It's pretty easy to catch a bus or taxi if needed.

    Tonight there is a party with DJ at the restaurant closest to us. It starts at 5 so hopefully isn't an all night event.

    Haven't gotten an update on Ron's brother for a bit so will try to call SIL later...she is juggling so much I hate to be a bother but we are trying to decide how we can help best.

    Update:

    #1: Emailed today and told me to expect final offer by mid-week next week.

    #2: Called me to say they accepted my counter offer and June 2, 2025 start date and to expect final offer package Monday.

    SOOOOOO fingers crossed by NEXT Friday, I have two offers in hand to choose from.

    I've been to Aldis for ribeyes and they are just fine for the price.

    Have fun Steph I have been out in a bar or a music venue in a couple years…don't really miss it.

    No offers on the HD so price drops $500

    Dh and I cleaned out my perrinial bed that never got properly cleaned out this fall. I'm digging out and gifting hostas to my dn and to ds2 tomorrow.

    I'm planning my porch pot and planter flowers. I think we are doing purples and white this time.
