    I joined you in the sleepless club last night, Skip. Feeling pretty lousy as a result. I'll watch grandson's soccer game, this morning, then look to an afternoon reading a book and snoozing.

    Morning BBB

    Torrential rains and huge thunderstorm last night. Many mudslides in the area. I think our route to the pick your own markets should be fine as it's 'mostly' flat but we will probably stick to the main road since the back way will likely be muddy.

    HHave tickets to a fire show/dance presentation at the Mexican restaurant this afternoon. We haven't been there yet so hoping for a delicious meal and a tasty margarita.

    Tucker likes it when one of us is gone. As it means a "reprieve" from his crate in the bedroom.

    HOWEVER, Tuck tends to be a bed hog!

    He's got his pup cup this morning and is now romping with his Fren's at daycare….

    Good morning.

    Congrats on having employers competing for your affections, Skip! Do either of them allow you to skip the DC commute?

    Going to the Governor's Mansion today for a bill signing. I work for a think thank that cares about such things, but my lane is accounting and not policy. The only way to to check out the place is when you have an invitation, and I can't see the Governor inviting me over for bourbon, so that'll be my afternoon. Cecilia, fearing bursting into flames if she crosses the doorway, will entertain herself.
