(My steps were artificially low yesterday, I had to update the programming on my Fitbit, then leave it charging, so I only wore it half the day!)
I really, REALLY need to stop weighing in any day but weigh in day. Gaining a pound overnight is making me mentally shriek!

Feeling strong today…was able to get up, stretch and walk around every hour to hour and a half today. Took my lunch today and had an orange and some watermelon for snacks. For dinner tonight, had leftover chicken, a half piece of sausage and a small biscuit…just had to reheat. I've done dishes, cleaned out the poo box, emptied all of the trash throughout the house (tomorrow is trash day for me) and am ready to relax.
Hope tomorrow goes smoothly for all of you and we can all step quickly into a nice, relaxing weekend!
@nancyinmiami I'm anxious to hear how all of the participants have filled out your questionnaire…looking forward to the next steps…are you getting decent turnout? Everyone seems excited…should be fun!!

Current Weight: 240.1I’m back! Ireland was so beautiful! 🍀 Also, I have a new highest weight (although I only gained .7 in Ireland). I’ve told myself I can’t go back until I’ve lost 50 pounds.

I’m not a great photographer, and the pictures cannot do any of it justice. We had a most blessed time meeting new family. I’ll pick out a few more. I’m just so thankful we could celebrate our 40th anniversary this way! 🎉💕

Well, the month of May was a bust. I gained 5 pounds. I have to stop it here and do better. I think the main culprit is too much ordering in. When I ate home cooked meals, I did fairly well, staying in calories. Exercise was decent, but might have been a bit low due to life happening and not always being able to make time.
The exercise is going to pretty low in the coming weeks. My husband can't pick up the boys because of his shoulder surgery and I don't feel like I should leave them alone with him, even if they are in bed.
But the ordering in. That is something I can fix. My goal for June is no ordering in. Possible exceptions if we have guests over, and I'll still go out to eat if we are meeting friends and I'll just try to be reasonable. It doesn't happen often and life balance is important to me.
June will be better.

Thurs 5/29: 12,607Wednesday was my husband's surgery. I was mostly at the surgery center and then taking care of him when we got home. So I expected my steps to be low. I was able to get in a short-ish walk in on Thursday to help with steps, but it was mostly a slow day, just running around trying to take care of everyone.
My kids are spending the weekend at my mom's (she really is a saint for helping with the boys so much, I really appreciate all she does to help us). So I think I'll be able to slip off to the gym a couple times over the next few days.

Husband is starting to feel better after his surgery, although he is still healing, and I dropped the boys off at Grandma's last night. So I was able to get to the gym.
