There aren’t a lot of changes for me. I’m more likely to walk outside in summer, but Nordic Trac time takes the place of that when there’s rain or when there’s snow on the roads - so there’s activity regardless of season. In terms of food, I tend to buy essentially the same produce from essentially the same places year round, so the only thing that changes for me is the price.
The one change? I’m more likely to grill, but that’s largely a function of daylight. I would grill in late fall and winter, but u want to have the grill cleaned and closed up in the daylight. That’s means thirty minutes if cooldown before the cover goes on, time to eat what I’ve cooked while the grill “self-cleans”, and time to actually grill. That means I need about 1.5 hours of daylight to grill. 🤷🏻♂️

I definitely eat more fruit in summer. Cherries are almost always present. And I do a happy dance when Rainier cherries show up.
I'm mainly a social drinker, and there are more opportunities to get together with friends and family in the summer, so I drink a bit more.
I want to say I'm more active in the summer, but I'd be lying. Perhaps I'll be able to say that at the end of this summer. 😊

I eat more seasonal fruits and vegetables, I get more activity—walking, hiking, cycling— outdoors. Summer traditionally is when I lose weight the easiest.

A few of my friends did a 30 differnt plants per week challenge. My personal goal was to work in more fruits and vegetables into my diet and to keep away from hubby's triscuits.

it’s hot in south FL. I’ve given up the park in favor of Crunch gym a couple of times. It’s been a relief. I was dreading walk time a couple of days. Good to have a reasonable alternative.
