Not happy. No other offers - and ours was turned down. Unrealistic seller wanted to close by July 30 and not accept 45 days. Heck, we haven't got our house on market, but our community avg day on market is 7 -9 days. I think next month, after they've paid another month mortgage, they'll come back to us. And my offer will be $50k less and 60 day close. I hate this game!
C'mon Fourth!
Congrats, Mary! You are kicking *kitten*.«Joanne»

Wow skip, what a house!!! Gorgeous but way too big for me. We're at 3600 sq ft. we want around 2000-2500. It is absolutely beautiful though Hope you get it! I hate the thought of moving. especially since married to a man who throws nothing away.
Busy day here and still raining. it's either raining or so blessed HOT out. Only gotten in the pool 2 times this year.
I have a sam's club run today. No Costco in this town.
way to go Mary. I'm about 10# from WW goal weight. It's a struggle.
Make it a great day BBB.

Good morning.
I just want around 1,200 sqft. that was built after the Carter administration. No homeless folks would be nice too, I suppose. This place would be fine with a second bathroom and some storage space - I'm paying $270 a month to hold the stuff that Cecilia won't let go of.

Good morning BBB friends.
Hope Joanne and Sam are doing OK today.
Beautiful house and property, Skip. Too bad it hasn't worked out.
We have 2,900 sq. feet and DW complains it is way too big. I'd happily live in half the space - if there were a 1,200 sq. foot shop built in the back yard.
How are the pigeons doing today?

Morning gang
Ron was up early and took care of the morning pigeon chores. I should go check for eggs.
Our friends are both working away at the dining room table and both have several calls so we will likely vacate the house after my coffee. They are on central time so began working several hours ago.
I agree the house is beautiful. Hope it works out. I lived our ranch with full basement. It wasn't perfect but it was home. After all our travels we have narrowed down a Floorplan/size that works best for us. We will likely have to custom build to find what we desire. But first a place we care to stay...hasn't happened yet.
Stock Market is way up again so our nest egg looks way better. But empower, where Ron tracks everything is acting up this week. He is shopping around for a new tool where he can import all bills (mostly credit card charges) and check them off as they clear. He likes to reconcile every 3-4 days. Not really budgeting but more tracking. Any suggestions?

Good Afternoon,
Nice house, noticed current owners closed for $600K in May of 2025; them trying to force a close sounds as they have a note due on flip.
DW says our house is too large, I agree since DMIL is at Madison House we do not need basement but if I ever get where I have time, I'll setup my wood shop again. Still have 2 bedrooms that have not been used for a couple of years as well as a kitchen.
Been trying to get haircut for several weeks, had everything done and neighbors home on each side of us, went to Covington about 30 miles west for haircut, they are closed for week. Came back to Morgan County one barber I had used before has closed his shop again so went to new barber in town; hair is cut but does not feel good.
Hope Mary and Co. is enjoying lake.
