Today's Topic: Forgetting to eat..
I can count on one hand, using less than five fingers, the times I have forgotten to eat. I have not eaten due to illness, or business, but I haven't forgotten to eat.
How about you? Is forgetting to eat a thing for you? What are the conditions? How to you adjust your meal plan to it afterward? Do you compensate with a bigger meal? Do you just write it off as a missed opportunity? Inquiring minds want to know.

If I am having a crazy day I sometimes don't get around to eating, this happens only with lunch. If I can I will grab a snack to hold me till Dinner. I will eat till I am satisfied and not over filling myself, I don't want to feel bloated.

Forget to eat? Perish the thought! I do sometimes skip a meal due to circumstances, but I don't forget that I haven't eaten. Usually I don't overeat at the next meal, but tend to increase late night snacks

I’m more likely to forget to breathe.
There are times when a meal doesn’t fit its normal slot - usually lunch - due to circumstances. In that case, we’ll do a late lunch/early dinner as our next meal.
But it’s a conscious response to circumstances rather than forgetfulness.0 -

I've never forgotten to eat…whoever heard of such a thing?!?
As others have noted, I have been too busy to eat, but that's also pretty rare. I don't really make "adjustments" per se, if this happens. The reality is that I eat a light breakfast, and I am therefore generally happy to eat lunch on the early side. If I don't eat around my usual time, I get pretty cranky, and the later it gets, the less I am able to control myself. This tends to lead to bad choices. So, I try not to let myself get into that situation to the extent possible.

Forget to eat, perish the thought! Plan to not eat, that's a different thing. My DW and I will at least once a week have a 2 meal day. Usually Sunday we go out for brunch after church at around 11, then we will only have 1 meal in late afternoon around 3 or 4. We have seen some success with this approach in our weight control, and have started doing in 2 or 3 time a week. Depends on circumstances, but it seems to work for us.
