I drink more in the Summer due to the heat, but am consistent throughout the year in keeping hydrated. I've never been a soda drinker and don't drink alcohol. My go-to beverages are water and unadulterated tea. Since my drinks are all non-caloric, there is no effect on the scale.

I, too, tend to drink more in the summer due to the heat. More specifically, I focus more on hydration around running in the heat than at other times. During that brutal heat wave recently, for example, we left water outside and ran loops that passed by our house every 1-2 miles to get a bit of water with each loop. Other than that, I am not purposeful in drinking more water during the summer.

I drink more in the summer. I need to drink not only to stay hydrated but also for regulation.

I do not consciously drink more water (or other stuff) in the summer. I get my coffee, three 20 ounce waters during the day, and that’s it.
