That’s great Susan, sunny day no rain!
For us today, we had heavy rainfall warning last couple days and mega rainfall! It rained morning right through late afternoon then tapered off by late afternoon. It is hopefully good for the wildfires! The only plants I had to water was my hanging baskets as they are mostly under cover. My garden has really perked up with the rain water! So today was an easier day as I didn’t have to water which was nice! Todays temps were cooler with a high of 71 degrees and a low of 60 degrees! Amazing how the temps cool down once the rains come out. It was sunny out from mid afternoon until sundown. So a nice day.

Thank you Susan. Glad you are safe, since I read that you had an earthquake I prayed all would be ok with you and Colin.
Today for us we are starting a few days of having cloudy skies! No rain just clouds with temps a high of 71 degrees and a low of 58 degrees!

I forgot to mention the Clouds I posted above in last nights post was and is mixed with grey and black Smoke that is spread right across the skyline. Even with rain 2 days ago we still have wildfires in various parts in BC.
Today we have smoke across the sky. We also have Wind Gusts that are up to 13 km/h with a High of 75 degrees and a Low of 57 degrees Fahrenheit.

No Rain just smoke covered skies! We haven’t had any rain since it last rained last week!
Today it has been windy, just saw the weather report and we have wind gusts up to 10Km/h could feel the wind when outside watering my hanging baskets. And yes they are swaying and my Whirly Gigs are sure spinning around. The temps were a high of 76 degrees with a low of 58 degrees Fahrenheit!

Today in my area we have Sunshine. the Smokey skies are not as thick today which is good! Temps are a high of 73 degrees with a low of 57 degrees Fahrenheit

We had quite the weather change from Cold to quite warm. It was mostly cloudy 🌥 with temps of 80 degrees! And tonight we are clocking in at 53 degrees!1 -

High of 78F (25.5C) and low of 59F (15C) with humidity of 63%. I like the cooler temperatures but the humidity is pretty high considering what we have in Grand Junction.

Friday was super Hot 🥵 with mega Sunshine and Temps that hit 95+ and was even hotter at home in my area! All vehicles had their AC on high to keep it cool. The hospital had their AC on too high, had to wear a light sweater but sure didn’t need it when outside, not healthy coming from winter like cold 🥶 indoors to too going outside into Mega hot 🥵 Temperatures. Such a Shock to the system!

Ugh, Judith. Sorry about the temperature changes for you. Linda, did you enjoy the higher humidity? It seems to be warmer here this last few days.

Thanks Susan, today was another hot 🥵 day but not as quite as hot as yesterday. However it still was 95+ degrees Fahrenheit, not sure what night temps will be but it doesn’t feel too cool tonight in my area. My indoor temps are rising and almost 80 degrees 🥵Fahrenheit. It might mean AC running all night to get some sleep 💤

Yes it’s hot and we received a Weather Alert again for the Air Quality due to all the smoke and soot from the wildfires nearby.
We are still in the 90 Temps and some places like where my son lives they are up in the 100’s Fahrenheit temps.

Description
August, 24- 25 2025) Metro Vancouver Regional District has issued an Air Quality Warning in eastern parts of Metro Vancouver and Central and Eastern Fraser Valley due to elevated ground-level ozone (smog) and in Eastern Fraser Valley due to fine particulate matter (small particles in the air that may impact health).
The ozone (smog) warning is expected to last at least until tomorrow. The fine particular matter warning is expected to last today and tomorrow or until smoke conditions improve. The warnings will remain in effect until further notice.
Cause: Hot and sunny weather in combination with local emissions has resulted in elevated levels of ground-level ozone. Smoke from the Sailor Bar wildfire burning north of Yale in the Fraser Canyon has resulted in elevated levels of fine particulate matter in the Eastern Fraser Valley.
Smoke concentrations may vary widely across the region as winds, temperatures, and wildfire behaviour changes.
Air Quality Warning in effect for:
- Metro Vancouver – Northeast (smog) - Metro Vancouver – Southeast (smog) - Central Fraser Valley (smog) - Eastern Fraser Valley (fine particulate matter and smog)
Important information:

Today was very warm, started off cooler this morning but by Noon it was Hot 🥵 We had a high of 90+ Degrees today!
Forecast says we are supposed to have cooler temps tomorrow! Here’s hoping!

It's typical spring weather here, Judith. We didn't feel it was too warm yesterday. It was nice not to have to wear a vest though. It's lovely again today.

Today it seemed cooler but it also seemed very muggy which made the temps feel warmer than they were. Our temps were 85 degrees but it felt more like it was in the 90’s.

I just have to water my plants when there is no rain. I don't mind that. The weather here right now is getting cooler again at night but the days are glorious.

Beautiful day today - High of 79F (26.1C) and low of 54F (12.2C). It was wonderful to take a walk today. Humidity was high at 62% that was just enough to make it feel cooler.

Today we were warm, very warm, muggy out, temps were 85 degrees but it felt warmer!
Weather is so strange, today we were so hot and forecast says tomorrow temps dipping down to the 70’s, guess will see if the forecast is correct! It would be nice to have cooler temps!
