Welcome to August, ya all!!🤣
My trainer is sick today so no workout for me!! Collin will be here in a few mins…that will be my workout. I see what the weather is like when he is p/u and how I feel…maybe a walk^^^^^like up there^^^^^🤣!!!!!

We had Collin this morning so Sara, Pete and Ronan could go to the movies. It was a long morning! It also means I didn't get to walk. I'm going to walk tomorrow morning. I have to get out there early before it gets too hot.

Aug 31Definitely, weight loss due to illness. I haven’t been able to eat much at all. Or exercise. Just enough to take these pain pills and muscle relaxers. I’m sure there will be a bounce. Appointment with the orthopedic doctor is Monday.

I did 5.0 miles in 120 mins this morning. My feet were crying, so I worked on their insoles, take out the old, put in some new and hope that works for my next walk … whenever that may be. Grandsons! School starts Wednesday for Ronan.
I ordered salsa for my soup the other day. I've use the same salsa for years and years. I received a different strange salsa. They gave me a refund. I ordered from a different vendor…same strange salsa came…it appears my salsa is no longer made…ugh! but no notice, I just can't find it anywhere! I tried the new salsa in this soup batch. Can't taste any difference, really. I so dis-like when stuff I've used for years is discontinued or changed. ugh!
I am finishing my coffee and I'm going to read now.

We had Colin this morning then I had my trainer for a 60 min workout. Ronan was here when I got home from my workout. He and Grandpa played video games until it was time to take him home.
I don't know if I told you guys, but it looks like my trainer is going to move to Tennessee to be near her son, DIL and Granddaughter this December. They are getting ready to sell their house here. I am so bummed! I've been seeing her for 12 years this year! She said she would show Pat how to help me. 😪

Pat and I have appts to get our Covid shots and I have to get a blood draw today…so much fun!

I had my trainer for a 60 min workout this afternoon. She is getting her house ready to sell…ugh!
Covid shots went great and so did the blood draw. I came back normal on all of the tests!! I did find out that I could make an appt for the blood draw!! I never knew that…the nurse that did my covid shot made one for me. I am so glad because the blood draw waiting room was packed. And they took Pat in right after me for his covid shot instead of 40 mins later when his appt was scheduled. They were so good to us!
The salsa I put in my soup has been discontinued. I am sad. The replacement isn't the same. No notice…ordered it with the picture of the jar…the replacement came and I told them they sent the wrong stuff. They refunded it. I reordered from another vendor and got the same replacement. I investigated and found out the company that made the salsa closed down. I am bummed.

Chris you did tell us she was moving. I know it must be hard on you. And on her. To move and leave everything and everyone behind will be tough on her also. This is so sad.

We had Collin this morning. I had my trainer for a 60 min workout this afternoon. Ronan is here now but about to leave with his folks for a fun weekend trip.
I just want to sleep in tomorrow morning. Weather is posted at 99 degrees for Saturday and 98 degrees for Sunday. I might do tomorrow but my phone has Sunday morning as cooler…ugh! I'll just have to wait and see.

Chris it has been hot here also. I hate working in the heat. Here is a little of what we have been doing. There are exactly 100 boards.
The top board is so pretty. Wish more were like it. I think if I remember correctly we have run them through 6 times so far. Cuts 1/8 inch off at a time.

Today is Total Rest Day! I got to sleep until 9:20!! No walking for me…it is 94 degrees with no wind…pretty darn hot! I ordered groceries…will make soup this afternoon. Watched silly shorts and drank coffee. I did things so out of order that I forgot to take my morning meds until really late!! 😮
The kids are at a cabin with their friends a bit north of us on the coast. Pictures show they are having fun!
Well, I need to get to my book and some more coffee! Bye, for now!

Chris I bet they are having fun. And you were able to sleep in. Bonus! Playing in sawdust sounds more fun than it is. That stuff gets in everything. Your ears and eyes are the worst.
Little cooler today. HOA meeting. Then Rocky moved 6 dump trucks worth og gravel around with a skidster. Got some work on our tank done also.

I got 5.39 miles done in 110 mins to the post office and back early this morning before it got hot. Out the door at 7:30! There were a ton of people out walking, too. Lots of pretty puppies too! The breeze was perfect.
I need to wrap birthday gifts for my trainer, Sara and Ronan. Their b'days are the 19th, 20th and 21st…ugh. Easy to get the gifts…Amazon is wonderful…sigh…lots to do this week. BUT right now I'm drinking coffee and going to try and finish the book I'm reading.

We had Collin this morning. Finished potting the house in order for our housekeeper. We were able to pass on a stroller and a jumper to her for her grand kids. Stuff Collin is too big for now. Ronan is here now. He did his homework and is playing video games w/Grandpa now.

Chris at least the birthdays are done for a year now. I still smile every time I hear you talk about cleaning before your house keeper arrives. And how nice to pass outgrown items to her. That should have been of gravel. lol

Some of the gravel/crushed concrete.
I do believe I am almost free of the dinoflagellates that have been infesting my aquarium. A combination of using a 3D printed uv sand/gravel sterilizer. And a mixture of several bacteria strains. Stinks 😷 like sewer for an hour. But it is working after only 3 days. I might even enjoy my tank . Did I ever tell you I hate leg day? Well I do.

We had Collin this morning, Ronan this afternoon then both boys for a bit this evening while SIL went to Back to School Night. 🤐 yeah…I'm not sayin' anything.
I have to wrap my trainers b'day presents tonight. I'm not sure if I'm seeing her on Monday…Tuesday is her b'day.

Chris, don't you usually take your kids to that? Maybe I am just old. You are a super woman for sure.
Worked upper body tonight. It was great. Worked on my tanks today. They are starting to look better. Only downside is it is time consuming. Oh well. And the bacteria smells like a pea trap gone dry. And it is a bit expensive considering how much you have to use. Tanks are looking better.

We had Collin this morning, building forts and trying to find different things for him to do. He is soooo active!!
Met with my trainer this afternoon for 60 mins. And now I'm not doing anything. Must do dishes.

Had to do some bank stuff this morning and then I decided I wasn't going to walk, I was going to make soup then read. Which I did and I am doing!! I'll walk to the post office tomorrow morning. It's supposed to be cooler anyway!

I got 5.39 miles in 120 mins done to the post office and back this morning. The last mile was hard cuz the ball of my right foot was crying. I was slow. Then drank coffee and watched rom coms and rubbing my foot!
We got new bathroom rugs today. Our last ones were shredded by the washing machine. It was tricky getting them without rubber bottoms. I had to read everything!! I think we'll be happy with these…maybe.

My trainer has cancelled this whole week. Her realtor wants her house in order by next Monday. My trainer and her husband are both working on it this week. Her husband has taken the time off work to do it. Egads, man!! Oh, well.
Sara caught covid somewhere…has to be from her school since none of the rest of us have tested positive. Collin hasn't been tested yet, but I don't think he has it. Sara plans to test him and retest Ronan in the morning before Collin is brought to us and Ronan goes to school. The fun days are back!!!

It's my trainer's b'day and my friend's b'day. She was the one who was our agent that helped us buy our house. Sent them both texts wishing them Good Old Age Day and told them to Eat Cake!!
Had Collin this morning. I got him a stuffed cat that, I swear, looks real. Sent it home with him yesterday and he brought it back this morning with his folks saying it had to stay here because it messed with their heads and they thought it was their cat that had passed away last year. I have the stuffed cat on the corner of the boys bed down the hall and I swear it got me a couple of time…Here kitty, kitty!
We have Ronan now. He's playing video games with Grandpa.

Chris I am so sorry that she is moving. I can only imagine. Kind of like my daughter only at least it's on better terms. But still so heartbreaking.
What do your rugs look like? So hard to find perfect ones. I want to see this kitty.

I ordered 3 new roses from heirloom roses this week. They will be here next week.
Heading to my moms. My brother and his son will be there. Hopefully I will be able to bring her home. We have grapes on our vines. They are yummy.
An old friend is here visiting. We have been staying up way too late.
Aquariums are looking better every day. And my friend really likes my new tank. Says he doesn't even like tanks but mine changed his mind. Hmmmm
Going to breakfast in a bit. Heading to shower and get ready.
